About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I was very disappointed with the prior Artist release so I will wait on your review for this one.

My Ulta had it out Sunday and I bought it. I must say that it is much much better quality than the artist palette. The color pink champagne is absolutely gorgeous. Definitely swatch it first if you aren’t sure but I highly recommend it!

Being a makeup addict, I bought it and I’m waiting for it to arrive. I ordered it online.

Just ordered this palette from Sephora. So excited! I passed on the artist palette because I know I won’t ever use the yellow eyeshadow, I think phresh is the name.

Again, like the Smashbox palette, a great range of colour and yes, another dark, matte brown. Oh well…..

i am OBSESSED with this palette. morocco is the ultimate crease shade, pink champagne is as beautiful as you can imagine, intense gaze is a unique bronze pink…this is great for summer and also for fall. all of the shadows are buttery and pigmented and wear wonderfully. $30 well spent.

After being totally let down by Urban’s Vice 3 palette (broke my heart as I adore Urban’s shadows!!), when the SA raved about this Anastasia palette, I was hesitant. But I let her do a total eye look on me (smokey purple eye with Heirloom). I have to say, I was impressed. Now I want to go to Macy’s to discover more of Anastasia’s shadows (evidently that’s the only retailer to sell them right now). The colors were very soft and buttery. I played with them all and they could go intense or sheered out. I got a full 9 hours of wear without any migration (FYI, she did use Pro Pencil as a primer). If any of these colors speak to you, I think it’s worth the money to give it a shot.

The only palettes that get my attention anymore are the one’s with different and vibrant shades. This one is gorgeous!! Thanks for letting me know about it. 🙂
