L'Occitane Peony Perfecting Mist

I happen to be obsessed with facial mists and L’Occitane Peony Perfecting Mist ($24) is currently on my hit list because it has a delicate floral fragrance that totally presses all the skincare awesome buttons for me.

Take a look!

L’Occitane Peony Perfecting Mist is one of those facial mists you reach for to spoil yourself. I feel like I don’t always have time for myself because I’m running here, there, everywhere! But for a few blissful seconds I can close my eyes, mist my face, and just take a second to relax with this facial mist. It makes me feel like such a fancy lady!

L’Occitane Peony Perfecting Mist comes housed in a bright pink 3.3 oz bottle and produces a very fine mist that can be used to add light moisture to skin or to set makeup. Apparently it refines skin so pores are less visible but I personally don’t have visible pores so I can’t really speak on how well it blurs their appearance.

It does however, provide light moisture to my skin which allows my moisturizer to absorb more easily into my skin. I typically mist my face with it after stepping out of the shower prior to applying any of my skincare. I also use it in the evening after washing my face! But the best use by far is keeping it in the fridge at my office and lighting misting it on my skin for a quickie refresh as my skin starts feeling a little tight due to the air conditioner and this is a nice little pick up to add light hydration to my skin halfway into my day! This isn’t so hydrating that it leaves skin greasy or shiny! The moisture factor is very light and refreshing.

If you’re a powder or mineral user you can lightly mist this on your skin to refine the finish of your makeup which gives it a less flat, matte appearance and a more natural, refined look. This is particularly great for drier skin that uses powder as it adds a very light hydration to your powder so it looks less cakey and more natural! I wouldn’t say it extends the wear of makeup but it does refine the finish particularly with powders and minerals!

Now the best part….! That would be the fact it contains peony extract which gives the mist a delightful fragrance. It isn’t cloying nor is it overpowering! The fragrance is very light and pretty. To my nose it almost smells like ice tea. For sensitive users it might not be your thing but I personally love fragrance in my skincare and this scent is just delightful!

L’Occitane Peony Perfecting Mist is the perfect little lightweight mist for Summer traveling or to tuck in your fridge for a quick and refreshing skin pick me up!

You can grab it noq at L’Occitane Boutiques or online at usa.loccitane.com but don’t say I didn’t warn you about how addicting it is to mist yourself with this one.
