Mizon King’s Berry Kissing Playing Lip Balm Review & Swatches
King to the Kong is back and making an appearance in Mizon King’s Berry Kissing Playing Lip Balm (one of my favorite glossy lip balms of the moment). I love this stuff and yes, you have to apply it using your fingers but I don’t care, I forgive the bad packaging and embrace all the glossy lip balm goodness!
Take a look!
You likely already know I have a minor obsession with the Mizon King to the Kong Skincare Collection from my past reviews. One thing, he’s so cute! I love the packaging on these products! The lip balm is massive as well, like all of King’s products, and weights in at 1.05 oz in size! That’s huge for lip balm! The balm comes in a pot featuring Kong’s cute image and his big, juicy lips ready for a kiss. Of course, the packaging isn’t travel friendly due to the fact you’ll need fingers to apply the balm. Sad sigh! But I’ll make due as I love the texture on this balm.
Funny enough unlike other King products this actually has a subtle berry flavor and fragrance that’s very yummy! Apparently it contains black chockberry which adds tons of moisture to dry lips. Like many Korean lip balms such as Etude House’s Lip Perfume this is more of a gloss to me than a lip balm formula. This formula is very soft with a thicker glossier texture that gives lips super shine and glossiness as well as a touch of reddish tint!
It does have an unusual tingle after I applied it but nothing that was super noticeable but it was worth mentioning for those with sensitive lips. I love how plump and glossy my lips look with it plus it provides excellent hydration through the three hour wear time!
I like wearing it alone or even over my favorite lipsticks and tints!
Mizon King’s Berry Kissing Playing Lip Balm is an awesome little lip balm that provides plenty of shine to lips with a highly moisturizing formula and a lovely little tint.
This, like all of King’s products, is a keeper!
Loves it.
