About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Can I just say that I have that CC cream and have been using it for at least the last month and I LOVE it. Seriously. It’s light enough even for me (pale cool toned skin, I usually wear tarte’s Fairly Beige). It covers quite well, and I’d say it does more than just light cover, it’s more medium. The sunblock factor is good too, I’ve yet to burn while wearing it, even when I forget to wear my regular SPF 50 under it.

YAY! I’m so happy to hear this as I really want to try it!

The Blotterazzi sounds very gimmicky to me. Well, so did the beauty blender so I’ll reserve my doubts for now.

I’m eyeing for Beautyblender Blotterazzi. Its soo tempting,..

I’m curious about the Blotterazzi – could you not dab away oil and shine with a clean beautyblender?

I guess the size makes it better to throw in your purse for on the go touch ups…

On a fluke a Sales associate showed me L’Occitane Peony CC Skin Tone Perfecting Cream $34. I was sold on the first application. This is all I took and wore on my 2 week trip to Europe. I didn’t need a foundation to go over it even- and I’m the junkie who wont leave the house without a full face. I know I sound like a commercial, but I kid you not, this product has revolutionized my makeup routine. If you wear it over the serum of the same name, your skin is matte for hours. Thanks Muse for highlighting this!

The Blotterazzi is interesting. I’m not sure how it differs from regular powder sponge, aside from shape. I’ll wait for reviews. If it’s anything special, as someone with really oily skin, I might check it out.
