Smashbox 24 Hour CC Spot Concealer

Now it isn’t for under eyes but the new Smashbox 24 Hour CC Spot Concealer ($25) caught my eye recently especially the super thin applicator!

Take a peek!

Smashbox CC Spot Concealer

Smashbox 24 Hour CC Spot Concealer is a new waterproof formula that was created to cover dark spots, sun spots, and post acne marks and also acts to treat them. This all in one treatment and concealer formula contains Photoset Poloymers that are have a liquid bandage-like technology which adheres to skin and won’t transfer. The waterproof, sweatproof formula treats and fades spots over time and has a super thin application for easy, exact application.

It’s an interesting concept having a concealer and treatment all in one and considering we use concealer daily anyway it’s always a plus to actually have it treating our skin through the wear yes?

Count me curious!

Smashbox 24 Hour CC Spot Concealer is available now in eight shades at Sephora.com and at Ulta.com and should be stores shortly.

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. that is a steep price for the amount, but i’m assuming you use the teeeeeniest little dot at a time and could last a while. i’m curious!

This stuff is actually amazing!!! I’ve been using it every day since Smashbox released it on their website. Apparently, the folks at Paula’s Choice like it to so check out their review. You only need the tiniest amount so don’t let the small size discourage you. And it covers those dreaded dark hyperpigmentation spots really well. The only issue I’ve had is that the product leaks a bit over the edge of the tube after you put the applicator back in, which is annoying, so you have to be careful But the product is amazing and lasts until you remove your makeup for the day. Hope they fix the leak issue though!!

It’s a very interesting product, but one thing that is SO suspect about Smashbox is that they never allow ingredient postings on Sephora. They don’t detail any specific lightening ingredients either…

This is the case with the dark spot primer as well Sarah :-/

This product has me really interested…..but my question to those of you who have used it is: Has it faded the dark spots, age spots. At age 60+ this is one of my concerns!!! Thanks so much. 😉

This sounds really amazing but I’m with DiEtta, is it really fading the spots? That would be phenomenal.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

Like Muse said, it’s a nice addition to our makeup routines to have this have some beneficial ingredients, but I really wouldn’t rely on a concealer to fade spots. It doesn’t seem to have many outstanding ingredients to fade spots… Some nice natural extracts and a bit of vitamin c is in there too I think (have to look up the ingredients more closely). Go for skincare. Vitamin C and Retinol have worked wonders for me.
