Catrice Made to Stay Highlighter Pen3

Embracing the contouring trend this season? You’ll need a trusty little highlighter to help you get the look and why spend a ton of money on it when you can grab this Catrice Made to Stay Highlighter Pen for five bucks!

Take a look!

This little click pen kinda reminds me of Sonia Kashuk Chic Luminosity Highlighter Stick on a smaller scale.

It’s actually used for eye makeup looks as you can apply this little creamy formula on your brow bone give your eyes a lifted look or in the inner corners of your eyes to ease the appearance of dark circles. Or I like apply a dab in my crease to brighten up darker shades and eases the way to blend shades out!

No one says you can’t use it as a highlighter for your face too! Slide it down your nose and blend out to sculpt and contour the area, apply some on your cheek bones to capture the light and give your skin a luminous finish.

The click pen is smaller and totally easy to travel with. It’s a dense yet creamy consistency that blends easily into skin. The shade is a paler pink that’s frosty at first application but blends to a nice luminosity glow.

If you’re looking for a cheap and inexpensive way to highlight both eyes and face this this little number from Catrice will do the job easily and on a budget!

The Catrice Made to Stay Highlighter Pen is available now at Ulta.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I actually have one of these. Hubby went to Ireland last year and I asked him to pick me up some goodies and this is one of the items he brought back. However, I’ve had little luck with it. I’ve tried using it, because of its size, as an inner corner highlight. I could never make it work. Couldn’t make it blend right. Tried it on my brow bone as well and still had trouble with it. I still have it though. It’s so pretty I can’t give up on it!

Glad to see Catrice coming to the US! They have great products, although I’m a little disappointed in their latest update, their little sister essence is far more exiting at the moment imo. The only thing I picked up were their new matte single eyeshadows, and they’re good!
I still have to check out the vast majority of their products though, because they’re only available in a bigger drugstore in Germany.

They do indeed! Aw sorry to hear it! I’m an essence fan too! I wish we’d get more of the LE collections from essence than you do in Germany 🙁 They look so fun!

Ah I forgot to share my thoughts on the highlighter! I swatched it in store, but it’s a bit too frosty for me, I prefer warmer shades.

I hope you’ll get them in the near future, I mean the US is a huuuge market, and you deserve to get the good LE products! I also like that they sometimes make popular LE items permanent, for example the cute floral design brushes!

I like it in the inner corner of my eyes and I kinda fit it into my crease to ease blending and add a little sparkle but I’m like you I like warmer shades too! 😀 I hope we get them! SOMETIMES we get the Essence LE collections but sadly not always!
