Sonia Kashuk Grand Bazaar Matte Lipstick

Sonia Kashuk Grand Bazaar Matte Lipstick ($11.99) is a new, limited edition slim matte lipstick that launched with the Sonia Kashuk Grand Bazaar Fall 2015 Collection.

I was excited about this collection of matte lipsticks even though I’m not a huge matte lipstick kinda girl. Sonia’s lipsticks are typically formulated wonderfully and super inexpensive too so I had no worries I’d love the Sonia Kashuk Grand Bazaar Matte Lipsticks!

The Sonia Kashuk Grand Bazaar Matte Lipstick come are available in two limited edition shade of Crushed Petal, a pinky mauve and Crushed Berry, a rich berry bordeaux. These come packaged in a slim line tube which has a houndstooth plaid burgundy print and holds 0.06 oz of lipstick. I love the shades! They are quite bold, rich colors that are perfect for Fall looks and perhaps paired up with a smokier eye look!

These have a true matte formula with excellent pigmentation. They glide on my drier lips beautifully with a nice creaminess and a thinner consistency that has a matte velvety finish. The pigmentation is excellent and fully opaque on the first layer. They wear very comfortably without feeling dry on my already drier lips. I had no issues with migration or flaking and the color stays true for a solid five hours even with eating and drinking. Mattes tend to accentuate my drier lips and even fall into my natural lip lines but these were smooth, even, and flawless without ever looking dry. They did have a faint vanilla-ish flavor but I didn’t really detect a fragrance to them.

At $12 each they are an absolute steal! I really loved how long and comfortably they wore and how easily they applied. All in all the Sonia Kashuk Grand Bazaar Matte Lipsticks are another hit product from the brand!

Loves these!

The Sonia Kashuk Grand Bazaar Matte Lipsticks are available now at Target and Target.com.

Disclosure: One of the shades in this review was a press sample and the other shade I purchased.

I picked up Crushed Berry and loved the consistency. It is more warm on me than I typically prefer so I add a bit of gloss ( not a matte lipstick fan anyway )

LovevSonia K lip products! My LOTD today is Roseberry Satin Luxe. It smells like cake batter and goes on so creamy! Heart!!

  • Denise

I had these in my cart, then put them back. I feel like $12 is just too steep for a drugstore lipstick.

  • Brooke Jones

These are beautiful on you! I am not a huge matte fan either so I think I will grab a couple of these instead of the high end ones. Damn my old dry lips!!!

    • Isabella Muse

Thanks Brooke!!!!! 🙂 Ugh me too! Dry lip hell! PS I got your email so excited to try SS perfume oils 🙂 I ordered a few! Will reply shortly 🙂

    • Carolyn

LOL! I hear you on that!!

My Target sold out of the Crushed Petal (which looks fantastic on Muse!) and I want it as well. 🙂

      • Isabella Muse

They proved impossible to find including online! You aren’t alone! I went to three stores just to find the crushed petal one myself!

  • Kimmwc03

I have the petal one and I love it. I think I’m going to try to find a backup the next time I’m in a Target. I’m not a lover of mattes but these are excellent. I am loving SK lately.

  • Dania

I actually just picked up Crushed Petal matter lipstick and the Blush Wine Liquid lip! I would have bought the other two as well if they were in stock! Her lip products are the strongest feature of her line, I absolutely love them and I have bought backups of her previous LE stuff!

    • Isabella Muse

They sold out so fast! I had to go to three stores to locate the collection! Lots of sad, empty displays 🙁

      • Dania

I am craving the vintage wine and crushed berry as they look like excellent picks for Fall and Winter! It’ll probably be a few weeks before I indulge though as I am currently broke!I guess it works out.

  • Dee

Love crushed petal on you! Haven’t spotted these yet, but it could be they were snatched up already.

    • Isabella Muse

I didn’t have issues with the color transferring when I was sipping or drinking anything.

  • Ayman

Wow mouth watering shades….Too bad I can’t get them b/c Target is closed here in Canada and Sonia Kashuk is exclusively sold at Target….The shades looks absolutely gorgeous on you. Thanks a lot for the review

  • Dolly

I have dry lips, and I often don’t wear matte lip colors cause it makes them more obvious. Definitely not the case with these. I own both of them and absolutely love them.

  • Melissa Buhia

I love your review about that SKGB matte lipstick! 🙂 Can I suggest that you review the City Color Contour Stick and Highlight Duo? I saw a review about it

    • Isabella Muse

Thanks Melissa! Glad you enjoyed the review! Sorry, I don’t have that duo ;(
