Bath & Body Works Holiday House 3-Wick Candle Luminary

So, I told myself I wouldn’t buy any more Candle Luminaries because my little stash of them is getting a big large and I have one for every season including Thanksgiving. A-hem embarrassed much?

But how can I resist the new Bath & Body Works Holiday House 3-Wick Candle Luminary?

The price is stopping me as it is a whopping $79.50 but it is so terribly cute.

It’s a Winter scene with two store fronts and a cute polar bear mushing through the snow in a dog sleigh. Pop your favorite 3-Wick Candle inside and the lights of the buildings seem to glow!

I don’t need it right?

Right?!

Available now at bathandbodyworks.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. To me, that’s even worse, lol, because not only do you have to drop $80 on the luminary, you have to spend another $23 on the 3-wick candle itself, so you’re spending over $100 on the thing!

That price is steep. I’d see what Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals there are first. Or I’d take inventory of what you got first and that might dissuade you from getting this polar bear and husky dog one.

Oh Muse, I’m dying over here. I’ve literally had this thing in my head ever since I first saw this on your blog. I tried not to buy it, I really did. But I was weak, and eventually I caved. But at least I held out until just before Christmas. And by that I mean literally days. So I had a coupon and saved 20% which was nice (I do love my coupons!). Today I was in again and saw one of the little accent pieces (it’s a red backing and has three penguins and three trees, and it says “Trees” just above them, it will hold the smallest of their candles). I scored that for 50% off so $6 which isn’t too shabby!

I know these are major collectors pieces and QVC used to sell them as well (don’t know if they still do). But they’d sell out within the first few minutes on there. This is of course when they were still owned/designed by Henry Slatkin and I don’t believe they are anymore. I’m still very happy with my pieces.

I lived on an island BBW wouldn’t ship to for years so I stopped buying. Getting the stuff home was always such a hassle when I traveled it wasn’t worth it. At some point I stopped going in altogether. Now that I’m on the mainland and in a nice big house, I guess it’s time to start collecting Christmas decor and this isn’t such a bad collection to start. So I suppose thanks are in order. I know my husband won’t say it. He’ll just grumble about “wastes of money” and “things to take up space in storage” but, I’ll thank you for the heads up. And I really like the more “neutral” designs that they’re doing versus the gingerbread houses they had done for a number of years as they’re more “winter” as opposed to strictly Christmas and I feel I can display them longer!

Also, I don’t know if you bought this one or had a chance to see it in person. But if you didn’t it’s truly lovely. The attention to detail is amazing. There’s even light “tracks” in the snow from where the penguins had been walking, lol.
