About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Hoping it shows up on sephora on the last day of the VIB sale! Wouldn’t that be lovely – almost as lovely as the palette itself. I am all over this one….. 😀

If this is anywhere near as good as Tartelette, it’ll be a must have for me. I love the shade selection in this one.

Hi Muse. . This looks nice but more Browns and neutrals. I wish Tarte would have more original colors instead of browns. I love Tarte but I have too many Browns and neutrals.

    • Isabella Muse

Hi Maria! Ah, I’m kinda a mush for neutrals lately so I don’t mind much but yeah, Tarte isn’t about too much vibrant colors!

Ya know, the sad part is that if you have 2-3 of Tarte’s palettes already you’ve probably got a majority of shades that are suitable dupes. But, that’s the brand. Their niche is the “neutral, natural, versatile look with enough punch to keep it interesting.”

Their shadow formula is amaze-balls, though! I rarely wear shadow, but when I do, it’s typically Tarte. *insert dos equis meme here* :-P!

LOL stay thirsty my friend 🙂 but yes, that’s the Tarte “look” and I understand they stick with that look and I even embrace it so I don’t mind so much owning a bunch more nudes because I like them so yeah..I think if Tarte introduced some sort of UD looking palette we’d all have a WTF moment 😀 and yes, I don’t typically wear mattes but when I do I wear Tarte 😀 There’s my dos equis moment ;-D

I bought the original Tartelette on a whim. It’s become one of my most used pallets. I’m interested to see swatches of this one. If it’s anywhere as practical as the first, I may need it.

Is it just me, or does this look less “in bloom” than the first one? When I see In Bloom I think pinks and purples… Regardless, it looks like a pretty neutral/nude palette.

I hope this comes to Canada in Sephora stores!! I hate it when it’s only available in the U.S., like the Too Faced Vegas Nay palette… Not everyone is willing to spend $80-90 on a regular palette (with international shipping included). 🙁
