Lush Candy Floss Showder Review
What’a showder? No idea but Lush Candy Floss Showder is a must for the Candy Fluff , Snow Fairy, Rockstar fragrance junkies out there. While it doesn’t quite smell like either Snow Fairy or Rockstar Candy Floss Showder is still in the same Candy Fluff family with notes of delicious vanilla combined with sweet, pink yummy fluffy notes that are girly, flirty, wonderful, and simply unique.
For me the Candy Fluff/Rockstar/Snow Fairy fragrance family is one Lush’s very best scents so when I noticed that Lush UK introduced a new product called a Showder to their catalog that was scented like Candy Fluff, well, of course I had to order it!
I still don’t know what a Showder is but I guess it is a cross between between a shower gel and an exfoliate, yeah, that sounds about right!
Lush Candy Floss Showder comes in a retro looking laundry detergent box that’s completely cute and UTTERLY NOT shower safe. Packaging wise it is adorable and likely something your mother used in the 60’s to clean your dear old dad’s work shirts! It looks like a detergent box and has a little cut out at the side which allows you to pour product out. However, it’s merely cardboard so you can’t, unfortunately, hop in the shower with it. It also has tends to spill out of the little spout at the side very quickly and messily. Solution? You might want to get a small cup and pour the amount you wish to use into it before hopping in the shower because taking the box in is simply not an option.
So this even looks like detergent! It’s a finely milled white powder with a gorgeous Lush Candy Fluff fragrance! To use it you can sprinkle onto your wet body or into your wet hands and work it into a lather. Almost a soon as water hits it you’ll find it lathers into a super creamy foam that you can wash with. It does have a gentle exfoliating texture but it isn’t harsh so using it everywhere isn’t an issue in my experience. The fragrance has a shorter wear sadly because almost as soon as I rinse it disappears. This is kinda abnormal for Lush so it might just be isolated to the batch I got as many reviews say it has a very strong fragrance!
As a Candy Fluff junkie this one is a must! I absolutely love the creamy lather it creates and how it gently exfoliates my body as it cleanses! The packaging could use improvement but I’m all about Lush Candy Floss Showder!
