I love Urban Decay and I like Gwen Stefani, but this palette is a major disappointment for me. I’m sorry for sounding negative but I expected wild and crazy shades that embody Gwen’s style but this looks like just another Naked palette! More like a Lauren Conrad palette than a Gwen Stafani one. So disappointed

Couldn’t agree more, Sarah. I know Gwen usually does neutrals on her eyes, but maybe they could have done a palette more inspired by her fashion?

Haha, I’m just trying to figure out what she’s wearing in this photo! Seriously, ive spent the last 15 mintues staring at her blouse/vest/flotation device trying to make some kind of sense of it!

Gwen wears a lot of scarves. This appears to be a mixed-media, infinity scarf that she has twisted in front and is wearing in a vest-like fashion. =)

This palette totally speaks to me – enough neutrals for every day looks, but a few pops of colour if I feel like it. You could still do a great smokey eye and I know that I will use every colour in the palette. Personally, I’m excited for this one! I recently destashed some of my extremely colourful palettes because I never reached for them.

Also, people keep saying that they were expecting wild and bright shades from Gwen/UD, but if you look at Gwen’s style, her makeup is usually very neutral on the eye looks with bright lips and usually the wild/bright elements are in her clothing, not her makeup! Those neutral shades with a fierce slick of liquid liner totally scream Gwen to me!

    Cannot wait!

I know I want to get this palette purely because of Gwen Stefani. I wish that UD made some exclusive lipstick shades to go with this palette release though.

There are way too many neutrals in this palette to make it worth my money – once you have some of the Naked line (as I do). Yes, I would think it should contain more colours too.

I’m counting down the days! Gwen usually wears a gorgeous shimmery chamagne lid with brown in the outer corners. This will be my first Urban Decay palette so I don’t mind the overlap. I appreciate the mattes as well. This is a complete palette to me.
