Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Rose 5

New Year, New Juicy Couture fragrance! Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Rose Eau de Parfum arrives just in time for Spring 2016 with a pop, a fizz, and plenty of fresh, sweetened rose notes to make any Juicy girl or guy smell pretty.

Let’s take a look!

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Rose

I have tell you, I was never a Juicy kinda girl but I started collecting the fragrances a few year’s ago and suddenly I found myself obsessed with them. I’m a lover of sweet floral blends so Juicy’s fragrances do so tick off all the boxes for me. I wouldn’t call them tooth achingly sweet but they lend enough sweetness to floral notes which gives their fragrances a very fun, fresh, young feel.

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Rose is everything we love about Juicy fragrances! Fruity, sweet, yummy, youthful, it’s the quintessential sweet fruity floral blend. Everything that you adore about Viva La Juicy is here but on a lighter scale with a more dominate rose note. The fragrance is described as a fizzy, effervescent fragrance with notes of citrus, jasmine, pink blossoms, and a heart of rose.

At first spritz there’s a fizzy pop of light, fresh citrus that quickly intertwines with soft, delicate notes of jasmine mixed with pink floral notes. As it sets you’ll find a honeyed rose rolls out and dominates the blend with an accent of white peony which gives the rose a fresher, cleaner note. I don’t smell the amber here at all even at the dry down I don’ get the warmth of amber but still more fresher, cleaner rose that’s very playful and sweetened by hints of mandarin.

I think the bottle is one of my favorite’s from the Juicy Fragrance Collection! Juicy’s bottles are known for their outrageous designs and larger than life bows and charms. This bottle is completely covered in a rose and gold ombre glitter with Juicy’s logo face plate in rose gold on the front and a larger ribboned bow and cute champagne bottle charm decorating the stopper. It’s completely overdone but my girlish good nature can’t help but be delighted by all the glittery goodness. And no worries the glitter doesn’t transfer which was a relief as no one wants glitter all over their hands and cloths each time they use their perfume.

As much as I like the sweet rose notes here I’m saddened to say they are fleeting on my skin. Juicy’s fragrances are fairly strong and long wearing on me but Viva La Juicy Rose had a bit of a shorter wear time at around five hours before fading!

The shorter wear time doesn’t sway me from enjoying this one. I wouldn’t say this is a unique fragrance but it is a fun, playful one that’s lighthearted and easy to wear. If you love Juicy’s fragrances you’re sure to enjoy this one.

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Rose is available now at Sephora.com, Ulta.com, and HSN.com.

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Oh my I think this would be the perfect scent for me! I love the original Viva La Juicy and wore it religiously for years 🙂 I recently started wearing more floral and sophisticated scents and especially like rose scents <3 I think this would be the perfect combination of both! <3 Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful new year! 🙂 xx

Just smelled it in Glamour mag and it smells so good! Disappointing that it doesn’t last. I saw another review in HSN.com that said the same thing. 🙁

So disappointed in this perfume. The fragrance doesn’t last . Viva la Juicy is my signature perfume so smelt the rose and loved it/purchased and I have to spray throughout the day not once or twice but several times. .Never had that problem with viva la juicy not a happy camper at all
