About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. The products looks interesting, but that shade range is disappointing. No deep? As a professional makeup brand I expect more from MUFE.

Anyway, thanks for the preview Muse!

I like their HD foundation… I wonder how the crease factor will be like? I get a lot of crease in the wrinkly bits…

Too many cool new things and I’m not supposed to buy …. And I’m weak…. Waaaah! 😉

Well I think I need to try a sample of that the next time I go to Sephora. Thanks for the update. I’m always lookin for one that does all that and stays and last all day. Haven’t fount one yet. 🙂

So, the video seems to recommend one of each color range (corrector and concealer). So, that would be $54 total. Am I understanding that correctly or could we get by with just the corrector? (I need the light med one) Thanks!

It’s entirely up to you. Bobbi Brown Serum Concealer uses a similar system where they recommend you buy both the corrector and the concealer. I did this and I hardly use the corrector. I think it is a personal choice if you feel you need the corrector. My eyes are puffy, finely lined, but do not have super difficult to hide dark circles so the corrector isn’t really something I feel I need so I can likely settle with just the concealer. If you have super hardcore dark circles you might require both the corrector and concealer. ALSO I am basing all this on the fact that the concealer will be pigmented. If it isn’t, we might require both the corrector and the concealer. It SOUNDS like the concealer is sheerer as they throw around radiance and light reflecting pigments and to me that sounds like a highlighter so maybe the corrector is the more pigmented. I ordered both as I want to review them and see what the deal is so expect thoughts soon 🙂 Hopefully it’s an either or situation here unless you have extra difficult to conceal dark circles.

I have several concealers that have failed in full coverage so I may be able to just get the corrector. I was getting ready to try the Naked concealer, but I think I will wait for your review! Please be sure to let us know if the corrector can be used alone or which is more coverage! Thank you!

I didn’t really like Naked, read my review Stephanie before trying 🙂 I’ll def let you know the good (or bad) word soon!

Have you used this yet? Thoughts? I just received mine and am surprised at how light in shade it is!

haha you read minds! I did a post, scheduled to go live tonight, warning people to get at least two shades up! I haven’t tried it, didn’t bother swatching, it was too light! I ordered a shade higher and waiting for it to arrive. Returning the four that I purchased! Hopefully the next shade is good! I can’t believe the light medium and medium was more like a fair pale! Crazy!

Super helpful post! I was really struggling to find out what shade to order (there are no Makeup Forever counters in Scotland, so I have to order online!) and this post helped me choose a colour really easily, so thank you 🙂
