Milani Spring 2016 Sneak Peek

Milani Spring 2016 Sneak Peek

Milani Spring 2016 is starting to pop up at drugstores with a new selection of Milani Everyday Eyes Powder Eyeshadow Palettes, Lash Extension Fibers, new mascaras, and a new range of Moisture Lock Treatment Glosses!

I’m excited about all of these goodies to say the least.

Take a look!

Milani Everyday Eyes Eyeshadow Palettes (Available in Bare Necessities, Must Have Naturals, Earthy Elements, and Smoky Essentials)
These are a six pan eyeshadow palette that works as a contouring kit of sorts for your eyes. Each palette has contrasting shades of color, a defining color, a liner, and highlighters plus a step by step guide with diagrams on the back of the palette to create a look using the eyeshadows.

Milani Moisture Lock Lip Treatment
Not sure if you want to call these a lip oil, a lipgloss, or a treatment! They come in a range of eight formulas (and shades) each of which has a different oil. Choose from Lemon, Primrose, Peach, Pomegranate, Coconut, Grapeseed, Grapefruit, or Raspberry Oil.

Milani Length in Seconds Lash Extension Fibers
FINALLY! Someone who introduces lash extensions alone with mascara! This is simply a tube of lash fibers which can be used with your choice of mascaras. I’m most excited to try this!

Milani Big and Big Lashes Maximum Volume Mascara
A intensely volumuizing mascara that promises not to clumb, smudge, or flaky while giving your lashes a fuller, longer look!

Milani Lash Trifecta Lengthens + Curls + Separates Mascara
A new 3-in-1 mascara formula that promises to add length, while separating and curling lashes!

The Milani Spring 2016 Collection displays I came across were all at Walgreens so you might want to check there first.

the moisture lock lip treatment looks like a dupe of Clarins lip treatment oil, clarions is available in raspberry and honey, for a limited time, and sells out completely. I think Clarins is about 25 dollars so the Milani looks like a really good buy.

Gah! None of the Walgreens here carry Milano, but I will SO be on the lookout for this at CVS. I’m thrilled to see Milani making palettes again. I have several of the old ones and they were great! Hope these are as good. Gotta try the lash fibers too! Woot- all kinds of goodies to look for!

I really want to try the new lip oils. My lips get dry and chapped this time of year so I have high hopes for those!! Let me know if you get some & what you think of them. I saw them online at cvs.com with 20% off and free, fast shipping!!

Just love the Milani range and those eye shadow palettes look adorable. I hope you will be reviewing some of these…
I hope they extend their colour statement range of lipsticks. So many brands are bringing out more lip glosses than lipsticks these days. Milani’s lipsticks are so good.

There is also a new foundation/concealer but so far I have only seen it on the Milani website. I am very excited for foundation because of the formula, price, and Milani is one of the few drugstore brands that makes shades for women of color.

A customer came to return the milani coconut lip treatment today. (I work at Walgreens) I was super excited that she got it yesterday bc I was like come back and tell me if it worked! And she said she used it the night before and in the morning and her lips were PEELING they were so dry, so she instantly returned it this morning! I don’t know if maybe that was just her reaction to them, but be careful of spending $8 to have a reverse reaction lol

Those lip treatments are horrible. They do not work at all and you get a very small amount, it was a waste of $8.

I had high hopes for the lip oils. I got the clear one, with coconut oil. It sort of felt good at first, but once it wore off my lips felt drier than ever. The huge applicator takes up much of the room, too. I think after about 10 uses 1/3 of the product was used up!
