Bobbi Brown The Luxe Collection Expensive but Pretty?

Bobbi Brown The Luxe Collection

Bobbi Brown The Luxe Collection is all the gorgeous but the $125 price tag is making me wince slightly!

This set comes housed in a gorgeous beaded evening bag and comes with:

  • Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color in Soft Berry
  • Brightening Blush in Rose Pink
  • Travel Size Face Blender Brush
  • Sample of Bobbi Brown Hydrating Face Cream

Bobbi’s Brightening Blush is $46 and her is $35 does that mean we are paying $44 for the blush and bag? Ouch!

Pretty but a little bit expensive for this set.

    I’m sure die-hard fans will grab it. Me? Puh-lease! I’ll do another look when it inevitably goes on sale lol. Maybe the bag is higher quality than the typical makeup bag.

    $125 for just those few items is redonkulous. I didn’t just wince – I darn near choked! Half that might have been a reasonable price, but $125 is outrageous.

    Overpriced….. Bobbi Brown’s products are becoming so expensive that most won’t be able to afford them.

    I winced as well. I typically pick up Bobbi Brown either at the counter with a deep discount (cosmetics sale + discounted gift card) or just wait to see what the discounted price is at the Cosmetic Company outlet. My interest is seeing what the blush looks like. I really like BB’s brightening brick but can’t wear most shades to the high level of sparkle and fallout.

    I don’t know what BB has been getting more expensive. They aren’t high-end in my mind.

    Is the compact packaging gold or chrome?

    I bought the BB Naked Pink limited edition set at Christmas and think it was also very over priced. More so than this! Sadly I had to have the highlighter powder (and I do love it) so couldn’t resist…..

    It was $145 but �125 in UK which converts to $181!!!

    I calculated (on UK prices) that the (plastic/vinyl) bag and chrome packaging came in at a $55 premium. They should have either charged less or included a mascara (or both TBH!)

    Thankfully with this set I have the soft berry lipstick, I have the brush and the highlight powder looks very similar to the Blush Pink powder which I have from the 2014 Sand and Surf collection.
