Comments!

monkey

Hey there!

Just a quick note, I approved quite a few comments today because they were pending and piling up. I’ve been a bit swamped and didn’t have time to reply to each one so rather than have them piling up and piling up and piling up I approved them all.

If there was a question or a comment that I didn’t reply to I am so sorry!

Feel free to re-ask it and I’ll be sure to get on top of it.

Sorry about that.

It’s a crazy time at work for me 🙂

Note: There is still a problem with comments and unsubscribing. I’m working on this. If you need to unsubscribe from a comment e-mail me and I’ll do it for you!

Happy Snow-y Weekend!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Hi Isabella, I have about 45 different makeup palettes. They are from 16 different brands. Is there a way for me to sort them so that I can use a different one every time I wear makeup? I do not go out every day, and on the days I am home, I do not wear makeup. This is really driving me crazy. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thanks so much. Sherrie

Not sure Sherrie. Storage/sorting is really a personal thing I find. I tend to personally sort things by brand but some people like to sort by color. Maybe, for you, sorting by color would be a good option as you can put your nude palettes all together, your bright ones together, etc…this way you can perhaps get a different look daily using them?

Can I just say that the recent plethora of reviews have been amazing? Thank you so much for your hard work! Going to try to find the Covergirl roses palette and the Milani fiber lashes. Sounds way better than messing with falsies everyday.

Hello. I was wondering what your opinion was on the Marc Jacobs social butterfly pallet was? I got Mine in last week, but not sure if I can justify the purchase. I have similar shows in my collection, but the only reason I have not send it back yet is because they are so darn buttery. Do you prefer the social butterfly over the lolita?

    • Isabella Muse

I haven’t tried it yet Maria! Getting ready to test shortly! Sorry to hear your disappointment 🙁

      • Maria A

I am not totally disappointed, but I do feel having a lot of make-up most of the colors are dupable in color not really in texture. Please do let me know even color wise which of MJ pallets you prefer?

I haven’t even opened it yet so not sure about dupes. My favorite one is the siren palette they launched in 2014! I love that one so much!

Thank you. I will look into it. I tear into boxes as soon as stuff arrives lol. I can’t help it.

I just looked up swatches, too bad it’s no longer available. I am drooling over it. It has fun colors but wearable ones. You never disappoint muse : )

I hope they do another one like it come Summer! It was really a wearable selection of fun shades! 🙂
