Fortune Cookie Soap Hallucinogenic Lipgloss is a new limited edition lipgloss that’s launching with the Fortune Cookie Soap Man in a Box Collection tonight which is inspired Doctor Who.

To my knowledge Fortune Cookie Soap has never done a lipgloss before! I think they did lip balms but not gloss. As a company who specializes in bath and body products it’s always such a pleasure when they venture outside of that and introduce something new like lipgloss.

Hallucinogenic lipstick was formulated for creating hallucinations in people that were kissed by the person wearing it. River Song used it across many occasions and in particularly when she was imprisoned in the Stormcage Containment Facility. Later on the lipstick was gifted to Amy Pond, the 11th Doctor’s companion and River’s mother, and she used it to escape the British Embassy in Prague as featured in the Broken Man arc of a comic series featured in Doctor Who Magazine #454.

I can’t say Hallucinogenic Lipgloss is having the same effect on people I’ve kissed this week. Damn…! But it does give my lips a lovely little sheer hint of tint and shine. This is a flavor-less gloss with a thin non-tacky formula that gives lips a hint of shine and color with a slightly tingly feel on the initial application. It has a shorter wear but provides a nice light moisture during that one or two hour wear period.

It’s likely a must for those of who can’t wait to grow up and become as cool as River Song.
