Kiko Luminous Chrome Metallic Lipstick Review & Swatches

Kiko Luminous Chrome Metallic Lipstick ($9) is yet another great testimony to the brand’s power to create incredibly formulated lip products at a very, very affordable price tag.

I was recently at the Kiko Store at the Danbury Mall and picked up a shade of Kiko Luminous Chrome Metallic Lipstick on a whim. Because, well, I can’t say I ever left one of their stores without buying at LEAST one thing (that’s a lie, typically it’s a bag full of things).

Kiko Luminous Chrome Metallic Lipstick shouted out me because of the rather Sci-Fi packaging. The long iridescent silver-ish pink barrel with the metallic pink push to release button had me thinking River Song must surely be carrying this around through all of time and space.

Kiko Luminous Chrome Metallic Lipstick has a multi-reflecting, intense pearly effect finish that gives lips a chrome-like effect. Personally, I didn’t really get the chrome or metallic finish here but I did get super shine.

I think lipstick formulas like this are such a joy to work with. They practically apply themselves! This formula is thin, slick, and lightweight. It melts as you slide it across lips and leaves behind gorgeous luminous color that looks shiny and feels lightly moisturizing through the wear. I had no issues with the color migrating or feather and it wore for a four hour period with a very moist feel through that wear. The texture is really super light and looks smooth, soft, and even on my drier lips without clinging to drier areas.

If you’re looking for lipstick with a high feel and a little price tag Kiko Luminous Chrome Metallic Lipstick is a delightful little formula that’s sure to please available in a huge variety of shades.
