Lipstick Queen Cupid's Bow Lip Pencil

Lipstick Queen Cupid’s Bow Lip Pencil ($22) is probably some of the best money I’ve spent on a lipstick pencil in a while. I love these and I will own them all at some point in my makeup life.

Lipstick Queen Cupid’s Bow was launched last Spring and I can’t believe I’m just now reviewing them!

Lipstick Queen Cupid's Bow1

Lipstick Queen Cupid’s Bow Lip Pencils are a chubby little pencil that 0.07 oz in size. This a sharpen pencil that comes with its own sharpener. The idea of the pencil is it acts as a lipstick a liner all in one and the precise point creates that perfect cupid’s bow.

I love this formula. It’s velvety, it’s thin, and it has a moisturizing satiny matte finish that wears comfortably without drying my lips out. This isn’t a thick, velvety matte lip pencil with a creamy texture. Nope! None of that! This is very, very thin texture with an almost slick glide across lips without tugging or skipping. It hugs lips in very weightless comfortable color and although it gives that coveted matte finish everyone is crazy about right now, it doesn’t give a dry, difficult for my lips to breath feel which I’m all about. The wear is about five hours on my drier lips and color remained intense through that wear and very smooth without accentuating my drier, flakier lips. It didn’t migrate, feather, or crack in that time and looked very fresh and beautiful.

Lipstick Queen Cupid’s Bow Swatches (Desire and Golden Arrow)

I have to rave Golden Arrow as a much get shade. It’s gorgeous! This is a soft blush shade on lips that truly is a my lips but better finish. It enhances my natural lip color beautifully and adds such a delightful blush of color like someone just kissed me. It’s very pretty. The other shade I got was Desire which is a true, bright red with excellent opaque color on a single layer.

I have to admit that after finally trying these I need more! Lipstick Queen Cupid’s Bow Lip Pencil is truly a great formula. If you’re looking to embrace a matte shade of lipstick but simply hate the finish I urge you to try these thin, lightweight pencils as they truly have a comfortable wear with a classic finish that’s gorgeous. Don’t miss on Golden Arrow! Truly it is a must have shade.
