I’m most interested in the Nude Necessities Eyeshadow Palette myself but if I’m honest I also have my eye on the Sheer Porefection Foundation as I like sheerer coverage.

Let’s take a look!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Omg, omg. I cannot believe I squandered my Ulta points for TF stuff last month when this was coming! Lorac is the only shadow I really use (have the rest, but always reach for the best!) Maybe I should get a second job to pay for my addictions…

Now that’s a beautiful eye palette … although I’m on a no-buy and already own far, far too many nude shadows.

Why “buildable” though? Did Lorac explain the name? Are the blushes cream or powder?

    • Isabella Muse

The blush are powders, I guess they mean that color can be applied sheerer or more intense. Lorac didn’t give me any press details, I asked but wasn’t able to secure anything so I got info from Ulta’s website. Sorry! 🙁

  • Shana Rhine

    That palette is beautiful…and only $30? That’s a great price for it…if only I had $30 lmao!

  • Brooke Jones

I will be picking up the eye palette due to my love of Lorac eye shadows and my Pokemon mentality regarding eye shadow palettes in general. Plus I am pretty sure that my supplies are running low as I could probably only supply one hundred people with all the eye shadows they will need for life. Obviously I need more.

Good grief! What in the hell is wrong with me?

    • Isabella Muse

lol absolutely nothing 😉 We all have this disease, it’s called normal makeup addict 😀

    • The Silver Nail

LOL at the Pokemon mentality. I hear ya.

The palette is gorgeous, and half are mattes! Seems like most good palettes are soooo shimmery these days. Just checked and my local Ulta has it in stock. Hmmmm, I do have that Christmas gift card to Ulta that hubby got me…..

        • The Silver Nail

          Stop! Stop! You’re evil !!! 😉

JK, next time I go to Ulta (too much freezing rain, snow, and ice for now) I’m def checking it out. And the TF new Bon Bons palette too.

      • Jessica

Girrrrl, are you sure we aren’t secretly twins? I swear I could have written the exact same posts, right down to the Pokemon reference, Lorac, matte shadows, a makeup army supply, the TF palette…and still debating on needing another pallet! I don’t NEED another palette, but the bright colors make me happy and spark my creativity. As far as I’m concerned, if I have to deal with adult worries and hassles, that also means I can amuse myself purchasing some unnecessary makeup or eating ice cream for breakfast once in awhile. Also, not to brag…but my makeup looks on point and you don’t find juuuust the right shade gold for an afternoon wedding look on the first try or with only one pallet! 😉

  • melanie

Just ordered. …. Not sure if I should thank you or not 🙂
Reminds me of Bobbi Browns Nude palette….hmmm

  • Maria

Thanks Muse. The shadows look pretty. Is the eyeshadow palette made in China? Thanks.

      • Maggie

I am interested in learning this too. Almost seems as if all non-pro and non-unzipped shadows are coming from China but the names of these shadows are similar to pro names

  • Rachel R.

That eye palette is beautiful, though God knows I don’t need any more neutral palettes.

I really like the looks of the blushes. I can’t wait to see swatches and reviews when those come out.

  • genevieve

That’s a very pretty palette and the price is great. I just think it leans a little too warm for me. I predict it will sell really well.

  • Terri

Ooh! Love the looks of the palette. Lorac does shadows like no other! The blushes look lovely. Just used my points at Ulta tonight! When will they be in store?
