The NARS Sephora VIB Rouge Blush in Goulue is now available at Sephora.com.

As you might know VIB Rouge Exclusives have been available from both Bite Beauty and Marc Jacobs Beauty. Each VIB Rouge Exclusive is offered to you in a welcome kit when you become a VIB Rouge OR you’ll get one when your status as VIB Rouge is renewed. The shade looks like a deep golden rose, kinda Orgasm-like but promo photos can be undependable so I ordered one and I’ll review and swatch soon!

    Just ordered sight unseen. There goes my No Buy for January! Also picked up the Tarte palette that just showed up in the Sale section. Happy New Year to me!

    My VIB Rouge status was renewed and I have not been offered a sample of this blush or any other gift. I am not going to try for Rouge status again in 2017 because I really don’t see the benefit for spending so much there. I am not even going to collect the birthday gift this year as I can’t use Fresh due to sensitive skin and I don’t wear red lipstick and black eyeliner so I don’t want the Marc Jacobs set either. Plus, I don’t shop in store often, but when I do and present my card at the register I have gotten snarky comments from the sales people about how much I spend and how many points I have, like “You shop a lot”. If I could do it all over I’d just spend the $350 in a year to be VIB instead, and pay the ten bucks for flash shipping, which is what I’ll do in 2016 for sure. Nordstrom and other places are going to thank you Sephora.

      Yeah there really is no point. I just had my rouge renewed and I wasn’t offered this either. I didn’t see that there is any “extra” in the birthday gifts for rouge this year either. I’d rather go Platinum at Ulta because the points give you actual $$$ that you can spend on ANYTHING in the store. The sales staff has been snarky to me at the register in Sephora until I give them the rouge card – then it’s all “oh thank you for shopping with us.” Please. Their idea of customer service is “well if you don’t like it then you can shop somewhere else” which is exactly what I do. I only buy at Sephora when they have a brand I want that I can’t get at Ulta. Really wish Ulta would step up and carry EVERYTHING that Sephora does so I wouldn’t have to shop there at all.

    This shade was in the Guy Bourdin palette from the Holiday 2013 collection as well. Do you have that palette to compare by any chance? I actually hope it’s the same so I don’t have to buy the new one 😛

    Hello Muse,

    I’m a big fan of your site and read it daily. Was happy to see this about the sample of the blush. I just called Sephora to see when I would receive mine , as I’m a VIB Rouge. They know NOTHING about a sample size of this blush being sent out or offered to Rouges at the time the status starts again in January. The associate even asked her supervisor and was told there was nothing like that available. I was hoping to try this without having to spend $30..oh, well.

    Can’t wait to see your swatches especially compared to Orgasm. Any word on birthdays for Rouges? This is my first year as a Rouge and I was pretty bummed that they took away the extra item. I was hoping maybe you got both gifts or something else that made it special.
