Mally See the Light Creamy Camouflage Concealer

So yeah, I’m being smart and I’m waiting on reviews of the new Mally Beauty See the Light Creamy Camouflage Concealer! It launched yesterday in five shades with a brush for $29 on QVC.com but I’ve been burnt too many times in the past with Mally’s concealers so I’m sitting on my hands and waiting on the reviews to see how things pan on!

This is promoted as an invisible finish concealer with a color correcting formula that blends seamlessly under eyes for a natural, invisible finish. Apparently the creamy formula gives you a “baked makeup” look and instantly melts into your skin upon contact.

If you haven’t heard of “baking” it’s a makeup trend hitting the scenes due to the increasing popularity of contouring. It isn’t a new technique as drag queen’s have been doing it for years but it is one that’s gaining more attention recently. Basically you apply your powder in a heavier layer, say under your eyes in this case, and allow it to sit there for 10 minutes or allow it to “bake”, and dust if off after several minutes with a bushier brush. This apparently creates a refined, highlighted effect on your complexion or under your eyes.

That is in fact what Mally’s new concealer promises to do without the ten minute baking time.

I’ve tried too many of Mally’s concealers in the past and many have disappointed so I’m going to wait and see how this new one pans out.

If you try it, let me know!

I’m curious what everyone will think!

Hi–I did get her lip pencil duo on QVC this week–looks great! She does give great tips ….I wondered about the concealer too. Too many of these just don’t work on me. I stick with Urban Decay Conealer pencil and Estee Lauder Smoothing Creme Concealer most days.
Thanks for all the great posts lately! Elaine

I LOVE Mally products, but her concealers never did much for me. I was hoping you’d have a review of this up. 0=) I’ll be anxiously awaiting reviews right with ya girl. The QVC demo and also Mally demoed it on herself earlier in the day yesterday and it looked sooo good. Hopefully, it delivers! She did have 2 OTOs Tues and Weds for lips and eye products and I caved on both. The prices were unreal.

forgot to add Mally demoed it herself on her Periscope channel. And there is also a video on her youtube, too.

Hey D! I’ve kinda been burnt by her concealers way too many times so I’m waiting ;-D I’m scared it’ll be dry or thick or too sheer. When she does concealer right she does it right but when she gets it wrong she gets it horribly wrong so I’m kinda sitting on my hands for this one -D I saw those and I had to be good lol!

a little over 20 bucks for TWO shadow sticks? Being good was not something my brain was capable of comprehending! LOL!!! If I get my hands on this I will let you know. It’s on her site today with the H3 lipsticks I reviewed and a new bronze face defender!!! I have my fingers tripled crossed for a 30% off Valentine Day sale or something. 0=)

I saw Mally present this on QVC the other night. I think it looked heavy under the eye area. Her product reminded me of Trish McEnvoy product but a thicker product. I am sticking with my Bye Bye Undereyes concealer by iT Cosmetics and the brush that comes with it. It works so well for me. I have really tried a lot of different concealers and in my opinion Bye Bye Undereyes concealer works!!! Have a beautiful day….be sure to “Smile.”

Hey Muse, so I got the concealer because the demo was amazing. Hmmm, it’s going back. It’s way to thick and settles into the lines. It’s super emollient and heavy. ..I don’t like the makeup look especially under my eyes. It also has a strong baby powder scent to it. I really wanted to like this but nope. I’ll stick to my bareminerals serum concealer that stuff is liquid gold.

You’re the best thanks Ana! Totally saved me $$! I was worried it would be too thick! I’ll def skip! THANKS!
