Hi Muse. Happy Presidents Day! I returned it. I wasn’t crazy about the pigmentation & I had forgotten how much I hate those scented palettes. super cute packing had sucked me in.

Hey Colleen! Happy President’s Day 🙂 Awww sorry! Peach one on the way that’s scented too though 🙁

I don’t think I’d have paid full price for it, but had the opportunity to buy it for $24. At that price point, I’m loving it! I am a total palette addict, though. I own the other two as well.

I am still debating whether to buy it. It is in my cart but I think the shades are very similar to the other 2 chocolate bar too faced palettes that I have . There are a lot of great reviews on it. I am still in the fence for Bon Bon palette.

I don’t own any UD Naked, Lorac Pro, Too Faced Chocolate, Viseart, etc palettes. I have always been interested, but never felt enough of a need because I already own good favorite shadows and limited addition palettes here and there that do a fine job of covering all bases of neutral taupes, browns, highlighter shades, and shimmers for a decade.

However, out of all these, I think Bon Bons is the one calling my name the most right now because it’s girly as **** and has quite a few lighter neutral blendable pigmented colors that would suit my light skin and everyday makeup needs. That, and it smells super cute.

Unless there is an incredible deal somewhere where its pice goes down to, like, 20-some bucks, I am a practical person who won’t actually buy things I don’t need. If I do end up buying it, I’ll be getting rid of some other stuff I have.

Chocolate bar and the new bon bons are two of my faves, and you smell like chocolate chip cookies when you’re done… Mmmm is it lunch time? As for the pigmentation issues some other mentioned, I haven’t had them, however I always use a primer before I apply any kind of eye shadow.

I find this one has colors that are little bit more…colorful. The other two chocolate ones seem just regular neutral palettEs. I am thinking about the Peanut Butter one and Peach one.

  • Jennifer

I liked the light and mid range shadows. The darker ones I didn’t care for as much. There was many pretty shimmer, satin lighter shades. I love the package and scent.

  • Janessa

I love it, and got it for $20 off, so that always helps. I only dip into about half the shades, but the ones I do use, I love. I have the other 2 chocolate bar palettes too, and I reach for this one more than the other two. I honestly love them all!

  • Amy

I LOVE it. The shades are beautiful- Earl Grey in particular is amazing. I appreciate how they give you bigger pans of the two shades that you will use the most. They also give enough matte shades for complete looks.

Despite my love of pink and hearts, I wasn’t feeling it when I first saw the promo pics. Surprisingly, I thought it looked cheap and childish lol. Then I bought a $40 credit on Groupon for $15 so I went ahead and ordered it since I LOVED the other Chocolate Bar Palettes. I’m glad I bit the bullet though because I really like it. Too Faced makes some of the best shadows so I wasn’t disappointed. And the packaging is actually cuter in person lol

It got such great reviews and I really wanted to love it but there is not enough pigmentation. I have tried every type of eye primer known to man 🙂 as well as trying it with a damp brush and just my finger but nothing produced pigmentation. I haven’t returned it yet because I keep hoping something magical will happen. Lol. But I know I will get the peach and the PB&J when it comes out since I am such a beauty addict so I shouldn’t complain.

  • Cathy

I got it for $25 but I still haven’t used it! I love having palettes but I own so many of them and then I don’t use eye shadows on the daily basics… I need rehab!

  • Lori

I don’t have the other Chocolate Bars (I do have Boudior Eyes and Country). I bought it at full price, I’m 42 years old and I don’t agree with all the squawking about the packaging being childish-I love it! I think it has good pigmentation, I like the mix of matte and shimmer, and I love the scent!! Lol

  • Rachel R.

I love it! Excellent pigmentation, adorable packaging, nice color range, smells like cocoa…what’s not to love?

  • diane

i’m so disappointed by this palette! packaging is gorgeous, colors look beautiful and I adore the chocolate smell BUT the pigmentation! ugh! I tried it over several different eye primers and either the pigmentation was non existant or I had to build and build and build it up and it faded so quick. Such a bummer.

I felt like Bon Bons worked better for me than the other 2 chocolate bars. The pale shades are nice on my pale skin and I find myself using the burgundy matte more than I thought I would.
