Milani Lash Trifecta Lengthens + Curls + Separates Mascara Review

Milani Lash Trifecta Lengthens + Curls + Separates Mascara is a new Milani Spring 2016 release with a formula that promises to give eyes a wide-eyed lash look. I’m not a huge fan of Milani mascaras but I thought this formula sounded interesting enough to try out.

Milani Lash Trifecta Lengthens + Curls + Separates Mascara is a multitasking formula that promises to separate, lengthen, and curl lashes. I find mascara formulas are mostly one trick ponies but sometimes, if you’re lucky, you’ll find one that might be able to perform two tasks well but never three or more.

Lash Trifecta Mascara has a plastic curved brush that has tiny spikes which grip lashes and bring them up and out. This formula is very lightweight and doesn’t clump during application nor does it smear or flake off through the wear on my dry eyes. I find the formula leaves lashes feeling very soft and not sticky or crunchy. The curved applicator works well to pull lashes up and out while creating a nice natural separated look with a good deal of curl. The applicator struggled a little with my inner lashes but it did a good job getting the rest of my lashes. I wouldn’t say this gave my lashes any volume but it did separate, curl, and lengthen as promised.

Milani Lash Trifecta Lengthens + Curls + Separates Mascara is actually quite a nice formula but I wish it could get my entire lash line in a single application. I found it struggled with my inner lashes terribly so I ended up with more of a doll look since my inner lashes were shorter than my outer ones. But all in all it does in fact multitask as promised which surprised me because I mentioned many formula excel at one thing and one thing only. This in fact manages to do all three.
