Pixi Rose Oil Blend7

Pixi Rose Oil Blend is one of several new permanent Pixi Skintreats Skincare products that have launched for Spring 2016. Pixi has gained quite a cult following courtesy its Glow Tonic so it doesn’t surprise me they decided to branch out and introduce further skincare products to their collection.

Pixi Rose Oil Blend

Pixi Rose Oil Blend ($24) comes housed in a 1.01 oz pink labeled green bottle with a dropper for application. If you read my Hydrating Milky Serum you might have read that I had issues with the dropper being a little too wide for the bottle opening. I’m relieved to say that I did not have this issue with the Rose Oil Blend.

Rose Oil Blend isn’t going to be for everyone as it does contain a few oils that might not be agreeable to sensitive skin types. It does contain rose hip oil as well as a few other oils like orange peel which give it a strong lemony rose fragrance. I find the fragrance pleasant but it is a very strong fragrance that might not be agreeable to certain skin types.

Pixi Rose Oil Blend4

This is formulated with sweet almond oil as a base which makes it a good deal heavier than many facial oils you may have tried. It’s very slick, slippery, and quite hydrating. It absorbs fairly fast but it isn’t something you’d want to wear daily but more of a night treatment oil prior to moisturizer. It leaves my skin very nicely hydrated but if you’re used to the thinner consistency of Argan Oil this might be slightly shocking.

For those with drier skin I’m positive you’ll get right on board Pixi Rose Oil Blend so long as you don’t mind fragrance in your facial oils. For oily skin users this one might be a little too moisturizing.

Pixi Rose Oil Blend is available now at Target and Target.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. WOW, the ingredients listed in this oil are amazing. I kept looking for the preservative but those appear to all be actual essential oils- minus the 2 carrier oils. I might have to check this out as it’s priced really low for the ingredients listed. My only worry is the (rose) Geranium. Just 3 drops of this oil mixed with a carrier has been breaking me out this week. Thank you Muse and Happy Valentines Day!

I want to try this as I love any product that is extra hydrating ! I am obsessed with the Glow mist from this line as well 🙂

My skin is oily and has some sensitivity, but this has actually helped all of that. If you’re sensitive to fragrance, yeah… stay away. You’re looking at a bottle of essential oils so that’s pretty much what you’re going to have to expect. However, even oily skin can like this stuff. Mine sure has and it’s helped with a few issues I’ve been having. Granted, don’t put this straight onto your skin if you have oily skin unless you do it as a night treatment, but a couple of drops in with your moisturizer will be just fine. That’s what I do and my skin really likes it.

Eh.. I meant that this has helped despite my skin being super oily. Oops.
