Hey! Do you know when this is available for VIB rouge?

Also, what do you think of the shade range for the Rainforest of the Sea foundation.. are the shades running light? Normally I am a deep in the regular Amazonian clay liquid but tan in the powder. I am deciding between this foundation and the other one.. any recs for dry skin?

    • Isabella Muse

I imagine the earliest tomorrow and the latest on Friday. I don’t have an exact date but should be soon! I don’t know, I haven’t seen them in person so I’m not sure. Sorry! Recs from Tarte for dry skin? Or recs for foundation in general?

      • Krutika

Recs from Tarte! I never liked the Maracuja foundation or the Amazonian clay one as I have dry skin.. but have you tried this new serum foundation? I guess I was going to decide between the one Ulta will get from the double duty collection and this.

        • Isabella Muse

If you don’t like those, you likely won’t like this one. It’s pretty heavy, very pigmented. The one from Ulta I haven’t tried yet but that’s a gel formula and it might be better for drier skin but again, haven’t tried it 🙂 for all I know it could be matte! Tarte Amazonian Colored Clay Liquid Foundation is quite nice for drier skin. Natural coverage, light, and feels lightly hydrating!

          • Krutika

oh no! I have been trying the one from Stila–the aqua glow foundation and I am really liking how it sits. But, I did not have the same experience with the Bare Minerals one.. sigh. I really dont like foundation shopping. But does this one have a luminous finish?

          • Isabella Muse

Nope, no luminous finish! Satin! I haven’t tried the aqua glow foundation yet. I’m really like Sephora’s Wonder Cushion and Physicians Formula’s new cushion as well, lightly hydrating, natural coverage!

Ok, the Rainforest of the Sea has…. lavender in it? Wha???? Shouldn’t it have some oceanic scent to it? Gotta admit that bottle is awesome tho. I may get it just for the bottle! 😀 But I will get the adorbs little skin care trial sized set, and the quench and drench lip set, and maybe one (or more…) of the Sea Quench lip rescues.

All the packaging for this stuff is spectacular!! It’s so pretty!! But I am giong to try and restrict my purchases this year… I made a lot of ’em last year (and a lot of it was tarte!) so I’m gonna try and be a good gurl this year. (please note I said “try”…..) ;D

  • diane

this collection is going to hit my wallet so hard. one of my favorite brands doing a collection theme of one of my favorite things in life (beach and ocean) Oh man!! LOL the packaging of everything is so incredibly beautiful!!!

  • blee

Muse, if this is as good as the concealer you reviewed ( that is on transit to me ) I may have to get that foundation too . And that Lip Splash in fuchsia , oh mine . 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

Blee, I’m not sure I like it…it’s a little heavy for me! I like sheerer foundation 🙂 but the concealer, that I can’t wait to hear what you think of 🙂

  • Mary Kay

Another brown eye shadow palette…ho hum….that limited edition lip duo looks interesting but that’s it.

  • Phyrra

The lip primer and brushes sound nice. I’m curious about the eye palette. The lavender infused skincare kills me because that causes me to break out.

    • Isabella Muse

lately I’ve been like that. My skin has been really dry and a touch sensitive which is abnormal but yeah, the lavender likely won’t be good with my skin in the current condition it is in!

  • Amber K

Oh my goodness, I need all of this! The brushes are so beautiful and Tarte’s are some of my favorite. The corrector palette looks like it’s going to be the It Item for spring. I really would like most of this collection (minus the lipstick and the skincare), but I was just diagnosed with more lovely medical issues thanks to the Lyme disease I had last year. So alas, I may be living vicariously through others with this. Thanks for sharing the beautiful pics!

  • Maria

I like the eyeshadow palette but I wish it was not Browns or neutrals. Tarte needs more color. I hope to get the highlighting palette.

  • Michelle

I really want the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Quench & Drench Lip Set … but I hate the cardboard packaging on some of the lipsticks. Yes, I’m that person – lol. The metallic metal tubes look so nice – just wished they were all like that. Anyway, the Twinkle Lighting Pallet and Color Correcting Pallet want to come home with me. But I’m gonna be good and wait for reviews to come out.

  • Dee

The foundation and lip balm look great. The eye palette does too nut looks like many colors that I already have.

  • Amber K.

This foundation is already my HG, I ordered it from QVC as soon as it was available. This whole collection looks amazing. The brushes, wow! I love Tarte brushes already and these are even more beautiful. Correctors look like the hot trend for spring, and I like how this palette has all that you need. I’m hoping to buy most of this collection, sans the skincare. Well, maybe the lip primer and setting spray lol. Tarte will be getting all of my makeup money this spring, between this and the Ulta collection.

  • Butterdaisy

This collection looks awesome! I haven’t been excited about any since MACs Alluring Aquatics and this is on that level as far as packaging. Stare worthy! I want to get the skincare, lipsticks, lipbalm, 4in1 spray, lip treatment. The shadow palette is really pretty too, but they’re just nudes. I’m a Too Faced shadow palette girl and I have to get the PB&J and Peach palettes coming soon to add to my collection of scented palettes. I’ve actually never tried anything by Tarte so this looks like a great place to start. So glad you posted all this. 🙂

  • April

Wow! these look amazing! The packaging alone is just stunning. Tarte has really upped their product game with this collection. Can’t wait to grab a few of these to try. Purple is my favorite color!

  • jean

I love tarte and I must have the eyeshadow palette, luminizer palette (even though I have enough luminizers, and strangely I’m picking this when I turned down the Hourglass one!), and the mini lipstick and skincare set. I’m tempted to get the corrector palette even though I don’t feel like I need it. I’d like some of the lipsticks and balms too but I can usually wait patiently for a sale to get those. I don’t normally care for packaging but wow they really made this collection eye candy! I’d get everything but then I’d be really broke.

  • Zovesta

So excited for Summer releases! I may even have to visit Sephora for these… =D Thanks for all the deets!

    • Isabella Muse

Even if it is limited edition I’d say a while, at least until after Fall 2016 just as a guess-timate!
