Ciate Pretty Stix

Things I love at the moment would be the new Ciate London Pretty Stix ($20) because my lips are crazy dry and these moisturizing tinted, balmy lipsticks are truly a treat! Available in ten shade selections Ciate Pretty Stix are coming to Sephora and Sephora.com shortly for Spring 2016 and will likely be a must-have for those of us wanting color, shine, and hydration all in one formula.

Do love!

Ciate London Pretty Stix

Ciaté London Pretty Stix are created with a base of hydrating murumuru butter which give them their super hydrating benefits. Each one comes housed in a darling little silver case that sports little kiss marks all around the tube! Like most Ciate makeup packaging these are just too cute to say the least.

I love hybrid formulas like this that actually work out well. Too many times lip products promise a variety of different benefits but only ever excel at one. Pretty Stix promise not only moisture but also color all of which they excel at.

This formula is a hybrid lip balm slash lipstick as it has the color of a lipstick, the shine of a gloss, and the consistency and texture of a thicker lip balm. The formula is thick but spreads easily with a melty, balmy consistency that hugs lips in plush, hydrating coverage. Colors aren’t sheer in the least by the very way! I tried three of the ten and all three had excellent color pay off. Each shade had a nice shiny finish as well and a wear of around 5 hours with at around hour four did lose some of the shine factor but still maintained plenty of the color and moisture. On my drier, flakier lips the color was soft, smooth, and perfect. The application was equally smooth with a lovely, buttery glide.

All in all, this formula was fab! My dry lips is loving it.

Ciate Pretty Stix will be available soon at Sephora and Sephora.com.

How do these compare to the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Quench Lip Rescue? I love everything about the Tarte except that the color doesn’t last very long.

Much different, these are more of a balm where as the Tarte formula is a melty slicker consistency. These will wear considerably longer due to the heavier, balmy consistency!

Wow, nice color and THAT tube! I love the kisses on it. They look great with your peach look 🙂 And seven more colors, ya!

Hi–sounds good—perfect, perhaps—I like the Rainforest lippie from Tarte–but your description is good–as well as lasting power—this sounds more my speed. Any idea when they will appear at Sephora? I will be watching–love the Vintage, cutie!

Spring Scents: Just got my Zootopia Hummingbird—lovely. From Canada takes a while– but that’s okay! complex and amazing so far! Also found a mimosa flower from LuckyScent—L’Artisan’s mimosa pour moi—it is not long lasting but so spring-y. Thanks for all the advice! Elaine
