Etude House Berry Delicious Strawberry Body Milk ($11) is a new, limited edition body moisturizer that launched with the Etude House Berry Delicious Spring 2016 Collection.
You may have read my Etude House Berry Delicious Strawberry Eau De Perfume and how disappointed I was that it didn’t quite smell as strawberry-ish as I wanted.
Not the case with the Strawberry Body Milk! This brings the strawberries!
Etude House Berry Delicious Strawberry Body Milk comes housed in a gingham printed squeeze bottle that holds 6.76 oz of moisturizer. It’s quite cute and looks like a condiment you’d take on a picnic! Sadly, although a larger size, this will run out fast and it is limited edition so if you love it best get to stocking up on it.
They aptly named this a body milk as I have reservations about calling a moisturizer or even a body lotion or cream since the formula is more of a milk. Milk simply references the runny, milky consistency of the formula which absorbs very, very, very quickly into skin.
I’m the type of person that loves the ideas of scented body cream but hates how they make me sticky and tacky after application so I tend to skip them. This absorbs super fast without tackiness or stickiness plus add the fact it absorbs in a snap and I’m a happy, happy girl.
Sadly, it isn’t super moisturizing and as I have drier skin this is nice to lightly add hydration but isn’t a hardcore pick for those who, like me, have drier skin.
It does smell delightful! Kinda like a strawberry fruit roll-up! The smell is a bit fake and isn’t a true strawberry fragrance so if you’re expecting the real deal here, well, sorry, this isn’t it. But it does smell super sweet with plenty of strawberry action. The scent doesn’t linger though and once applied it fades rather quickly.
Etude House Berry Delicious Strawberry Body Milk is nice lightweight body milk that has a tooth achingly sweet scent that some folks will love and others won’t. Don’t expect too much moisture from this little body cream but it might be nice for layering with your favorite strawberry based fragrances.
