  • Evening Rose is vibrant with contrast. Juicy blackberry and rich cognac blend with voluptuous rose centifolia and Bulgarian Rose Absolute like the lingering memory of an unforgettable evening

Aerin Matchbox Set

I wasn’t sure I was going to like this set as I’m more a fruity floral kinda girl and Aerin is all about fresh, delicate floral fragrances.

The good news? I loved all of these fragrances. They are so pretty and delicate, very un-aggressive and wearable! The bad news? It’s going to cost me a fortune buying them all in full size 🙂

The Aerin Matchbox Gift Set gets a Muse Approval and can be purchased now at Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. It doesn’t have the one I want to smell the most: Mediterranean Honeysuckle. A nice little set. I’m wearing the lilac today. The Rose Grasse is amazing, it doesn’t smell like a funeral home surprisingly!

I agree with you about the Honeysuckle, Ashley. Maybe they will bring out another set soon.

I got this thinking they were roll-ons 🙁

I already wear Evening Rose lotion so glad to have a traveler of the perfume. It’s a perfect dupe of Frederic Malle’s Portrait of a Lady (talk about expense there!! You get off easy with Lauder!).

Looking forward to trying the others!

Oh I wish this smelled like Potrait of a Lady to me! I get more rose with it where as Portrait of a Lady I get more powdery violet! Ugh you have me wishing it was a dupe for me! 🙂

      • Rina

How interesting! I agree, POAL isn’t a rose scent for me but I don’t get violets from it. I have both, so I usually use the Aerin lotion and the FM perfume…

It feels like a back note of powdery violets to me but also it’s a good deal darker compared to Aerin’s lighter rose notes. But don’t listen to me, I smell notes that are never even in a fragrance #BADNOSE
