Urban Decay Heartless 24 7 Glide-On Eye Pencil2

Urban Decay Heartless 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil ($20) is a new, permanent eyeliner shade (Yes, like the eyeshadow shade!) that recently launched with the Urban Decay Summer 2016 Collection. Heartless is one of the first multitasking shades of 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil. Well, it’s one of the first shades that Urban Decay actually markets as a multitasking color anyway!

Here’s the deets!

Urban Decay Heartless 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil is a frosty shade of light pink that almost reflects lilac pink in a certain light. I admit I hate the frosty finish sorry! Eep! This is also a color that doesn’t quite work for me no matter how I use it.

On that note I will say that Urban Decay promotes it 7 ways from Sunday on how you can use it! You can use it to highlight your highbrow area or even on your cheek bones to add a hint of an ethereal radiance. Funny enough it works best using it in these ways versus an all over eyeliner in my opinion! It actually creates a really pretty glow if you blend it right on the upper part of your cheek bones!

It does have a creamy, smooth consistency but not the easy glide I know from Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencils! It’s a little denser but still doesn’t skip or drag during application.

I think Urban Decay did a good job marketing Heartles as an all over color pencil versus simply an eyeliner. It is part of their 24/7 Glide-On Pencil Collection though none the less but I like I have new uses for it as I likely wouldn’t use the shade to line with but as a highbrow highlighter or even for adding a dash of radiance on my face and cheeks it was very nice.

Urban Decay Heartless 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil is available now at Sephora.com, Ulta.com, and urbandecay.com.

Did you pick it up?

I’d love to see how this looks on the lower waterline! I’m seeing super big bright eyes in my head already! 🙂

the shade is awful. such intense pearly-ish finish was in fashion maybe 10 years ago. satin finish would be much better, but still that lilac shade is clearly not for everyone. I can’t imagine who could wear it as everyday highlighter on cheekbones. I mean of course you can apply whatever you want on your face, but not everything looks natural or workhours-friendly.

It’s such a pretty color. I love the shimmer and think it will make a great highlighting color, especially in the inner corners.
