What’s Your Signature Makeup Look? Siren? Cute? Natural?

signature makeup look

What’s your signature makeup look? Do you go for a sexy siren look with lots of red lipstick maybe? Are you all about a kawaii look with pink blush? Maybe you like a natural no makeup makeup look? Maybe you go with a winged eyeliner look every single day?

What would you say your signature look is?

My own varies but I mostly try to go cute with my own look. I have a bubbly, upbeat personality and I try to inject that into my makeup look! Most times this consists of cheek stain and a doe-eyed look with tons of mascara.

Lately, I’m embracing a no makeup makeup look as well and I break out my sexy smokier eye look for concerts and such.

But for me, I typically go cute!

How about you?

What’s your signature makeup look and what products do you use to get the look?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. I like a “perfected look”. Think medium coverage natural looking foundation (Becca aqua luminous mixed with lancome teint idole), blushed neutral cheeks (Charlotte tilbury “first love” , full on saturated lip with nude lipstick (smashbox be legendary lipstick in ” first time” , full lashes with lots of mascara, deepened eye crease with warm brown and gold lid (anastasia Bev hills shadows), good, thick brows (benefit “gimme brow”. I Love the look of a good face of makeup beautifully done. Kind of like Kim K. While she wears a crap ton of makeup, I like the technique of playing up her natural beauty of lots of neutral Colors from eyes, to cheeks , to lips and thick lashes. I dont do contouring at all to myself ever tho. I’m a go- all- makeup kind of girl , or wear none at all, there’s no in between. Love this topic and can’t wait to read everyone else’s response. 🙂

I don’t wear makeup daily but when I do, my go-to look is a sweet rosy look. It goes well with all my outfits and fits almost every occasion. I also match my car and all my Sailor Moon stuff…….

-I always contour to make my face look smaller.
-Shimmery pink on my aegyo-sal and tear duct area.
-Pink/red/brown eyeshadows in sort of a gradient look (light to dark from the lid to the lashline).
-Tightline with darkbrown eyeliner and excess is smudged to blend with the bottom lashline (I don’t do any form of a winged eyeliner when I actually do my makeup).
-Darkbrown eyeliner or brown eyeshadow on my lower lashline but only 1/2 of the way from the outer corner to the center.
-Then I use a rosy/brown blush that looks like how I normally blush when I turn red loool. My lipstick is always Too Faced La Creme in pink chocolate.

Bwhhahah I love the pink chocolate look. Even my brows are tinged with pink/red so you can kinda see it in the light or heavily in the sun.

I’m pretty lazy for a makeup addict, so my signature is definitely perfected, but on the more natural-ish side. I focus on mattified skin, and usually a bold lip. Color corecting has always been my jam so I’m LIVING for the current trend lol.

-I combine primers for my skin concern du jour, and add usually a blue color corrector which tames redness but doesn’t turn ashy on my super pale skin.
    – Sheer out concealer as a pseudo foundation over my face and concentrated only where I really need it.
    – Setting powder from here to eternity.
    – I’m about bright, open eyes and typically neglect shadow. I curl my lashes religiously, tightline with dark brown on top only then add a lengthening mascara.
    – Fill in brows and line lips. Lipstick is typically something boldish. Think Mac Toxic Tale or Too Faced Jelly Bean.
-Knock off excess setting powder and choose blush according to lipstick shade.
    -Highlight if I’m feeling fancy.

My signature makeup is natural and for an evening natural with a plum or red matte lipstick with a very simple filled eyebrows and a touch of blush.

My problem with makeup is my nose allergies. I have to sneeze and blow my nose so much that sometimes before I leave home my makeup is partially gone.

I generally go cute. Brown eyeshadow, red blush, neutral rosy brown lips. As for a true signature look, probably fire engine red lips and cheeks. Looove me some rouge on the cheeks!

’40s glam with a pinch of ’50s cuteness. Red lips, mascara, tightlined eyes, gently filled in brows, a matte finish, and rosy red cheeks. Sometimes I’ll go for a cute look or a more Bollywood look, but that’s the look I normally wear.

I do a little of everything. I do a full face all most daily . At least 2 colors on the eyes ( smokey to natural) , liner & mascara ( 3 layers). Foundation with IT foundation to set it. Brows softly, contour, blush, and shimmer highlighter. Lips ( liner and lipstick).

I’m call my style “eclectic alternative glam.” I like to change things up and experiment, use “weird” colors, brights, etc. Sometimes it’s a pin-up eye and classic red lips, another day it’s bronzey minimalist makeup with blue-gray lips, another day it’s kind of goth with exaggerated winged linger and vampy lips. Some days I even wear neutrals and look “normal.” I get bored easily. *shrugs* About the only looks I don’t really do are “the natural look” or “no makeup makeup.” They look great on other people, but they’re not my style.

I only wear makeup for parties or meetings, and it’s usually:

    – pale shimmer in the inner corner
    – one coat of brown mascara
    – bronze shimmer lining the upper lashes with a matt taupe base
    – coral or pink lip balm, or a deeper color stained into the center and blended out.
    – no foundation or primer or concealer ever.

Not sure what you’d call it. Pretty Lazy? I should trademark that.

I’m a former teen goth still attached to my deep, opaque lipsticks. I’ve lightened up on the eyes though- liquid liner is more trouble than it’s worth these days- so I’m rocking a softer shadow look. I’m eyeing some more liquid lipsticks beyond my Stila, but I’ve returned to my Kat Von D Esperanza palette for fun “spring time” shades- the bright purple Selena and pale turquoise Archangel are perfect. Hmm, now that I think about it, turquoise eyeshadow and burgundy lipstick probably don’t belong together. Oh well I don’t think it looks too bad! ^_^

I’m a guy and prefer a subtle “I’m wearing makeup but not drag look” (not that I have anything against that look, I think it’s fab just not my personal style) and my daily look is grungy goth, I do a light layer of foundation to even out the redness in my pale skin, then I do a subtle smudgy smokey eye with reds/Browns (Lorac pro-matte, limecrime Venus 1&2) followed up with a layer of they’re real lash primer for just a hint of definition and finish everything off with a very subtle brow fill in just to fix the natural sparseness.

I usually like to spend more time making my skin look nice. I usually use some bronzer and go heavier on the blush(bc that’s always the first to go). I fill in the tails of my brows and use brow gel. Then some winged liner, and mascara. I usually skip the contouring , highlighter, and complicated eyeshadow looks most days.

  • kellly

Mostly natural. I use concealer, eye shadow (in a natural color just to add shine to my eyelids), blush, lipstick and half a tube of mascara! But I stick with natural looking colors and aside from using volumizing mascara, I do a pretty work-safe look.

I have different moods, though mostly I go for a natural look, skinwise, with a bit of illuminator, and either go for a bright or smokey eye paired with a nude lip, or a cat eye (or a hint of one) with a red lip. Occasionally I’ll wear plums or more dramatic lip colors, too. It all depends on the mood.

  • Carrie

I like the natural or cute look. Usually a brown shade of eyeshadow, or something from the Naked 3 pallette. Some mascara, and tightlining on the upper lashes. I really like the bold lip/cat eye look, but have yet to wear it out.

  • Armi

My style is typically red lipstick with mini cat-eye liner for eyes. I don’t have a lot of time to go all out everyday since I work in the operating room. I get too hot under the OR lights all masked, gowned and gloves up. This way I still look a little glam without makeup melting all over my face!!!
