    OMG what I went through to get this palette! This was on Nordstrom’s website two days ago. I ordered it, immediately received a “purchase cancelled” email, called Nordstrom to find out why, was told it was a glitch on their end and to place the order again which I did, received a second “purchase cancelled” email, called Nordstrom back, was told yet again it was a glitch and to try again later. I was finally able to purchase it yesterday…woo-hoo! I love the X15 palettes (I didn’t like the X9 palettes) so I’m sure it will be worth the effort.

    This is actually the 2nd time MAC has dropped the price on these palettes. They were initially $100, then $85. I guess MAC is beginning to realize there are other ways to stay competitive besides constant LE collections, LOL! Someone probably realized aside from diehard MAC fans, most people have jumped ship to other brands. It seems MAC dominated YouTube a few years ago, but between other brands gaining popularity, and new brands in general, MAC just gets the occasional mention. Now, if someone figures out more people will buy products that are actually *available*, they may regain some of their former status… Hopefully, this palette will be around for a bit. I have all the permanent shades, which are among my favorites, so it’s worth having backups, plus one repromote, and I missed Buckwheat, so at $65, it’s worth the splurge.

    Is the MAC price drop a USA only thing?

    Here in Europe, the large palettes are still the same price:(
    If only they were a bit less pricey, I would definitely buy one!

    Doooo it!! I have the first neutral palette that Nordstrom made and it’s a great value. Its such an easy, non-fussy palette that can be used alone or as a great companion to anything else. For an eyeshadow palette $65 is nothing nowadays.

            haha totally understand. It’s on mine too! I had it in my cart, almost at submit, but I backed out last minute and got something else! Bad muse!

          If you like MAC eyeshadows, and neutrals, it is definitely worth it! The 3 paler shades look fairly similar, but there’s enough variation in the rest of the palette, both in finish & color. Also, the quality in on par with MACs individual shadows. At first glance, it seems like a very warm palette, but they aren’t too warm, and they work well with the cooler shades included. I personally prefer cooler neutrals, but this one is very cohesive, extremely wearable, and truly neutral. At $65, it’s a steal.

    Was THIS close to ordering the neutral warm X 15 palette (from Nordstrom’s) after the price drop. I need more eye shadow like a whole in the head so I stepped away from the computer (but still tempted). I wonder if they will cut prices even more?!
