NARS Special Edition Orgasm

I do so admit I’m terribly excited about the NARS Special Edition Orgasm Blush that’s getting supersized for Summer 2016. NARS Super Orgasm was introduced in 1999 and has since been one of my signature blush shades. I just love the gorgeous peachy pink glow it gives my face. Since it’s release Orgasm, has become a lifestyle for makeup addicts with countless spinoff products releases from NARS in the shade for lips and nails. I’m really wanting an Orgasm-like eyeshadow shade so hopefully that’s in the works someday soon!

The new, oversized limited edition custom compact was designed in collaboration with Fabien Baron of Baron & Baron and features a special NARS Logo with a visual of a flirty model wearing Orgasm on her cheeks! And inside the mirror is etched with the hashtag #whatmakesyoublush.

This Orgasm will be 0.28 in size which is a bit smaller compared to larger past special edition shades like Soulshine, Rotonde, and Boys Don’t Cry and will be $39 (as seen below). I use so much Orgasm that I wouldn’t mind having a larger palette in the least.

NARS Special Edition orgasm Blush will be available May 1, 2016 at NARS Boutiques and narscosmetics.com and June 1, 2016 at Sephora, Sephora.com, department, and specialty stores.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I never had this blush before Muse. Is it really worth it? I have Tarte glisten and I wonder if it is very similar. Thanks.

I love it. It’s one of my fav shades 🙂 It’s a little deeper than Glisten but along the same lines 🙂

For the longest time, I felt like Orgasm blush was really gimmicky (although a really smarty gimmick!) and not for me. And even when I swatched on my hand, it still seemed not too thrilling. But when I finally tried on my face, it was so pretty — and not glittery at all, which was one of my fears. I originally had it in a little cheek palette, with Laguna and some LE highlighter, but used that one up but have a regular-sized pan now. Not too tempted by this but maybe . . .

Never actually bought this cult product, but this LE packaging sure is pretty. Can’t you just use it as an eyeshadow btw?

I tried, it doesn’t quite blend well as an eyeshadow, I’d love something better formulated for the eye in this shade 🙂
