About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. These sound an awful lot like the drops Cover FX came out with a few months ago. Great idea!

I love the one use sleeping masks sephora has been doing, so I trust them with this type of skincare, I’ll pick at least one of these up! Probably both the orange and green ones.

These look really interesting, I’d love to try the revitalizing one too! Xx

I was super excited about a $20 vitamin C serum and the realized that it’s only .67 ounces, so it’s more expensive than what I use now. But at least this might be available locally, vs the serums I have to order through the mail.

This really works! I’ve dry combination skin and been using this on my face, neck and chest. I’ve been using it for 14 days and there are 3-phase of visible results. 1 (Immediate result) – Serum absorbed quickly, non oily, skin feels moisturized, soft and supple. 2 (week 1) – Skin looks brighter than day 1 of using, skin feels supple even without using it, my oily T-zone reduced. 3 (week 2) Skin tone lightens, brightens, glowing and feels plumper. Dullness and oily T-zone reduced. Somehow, when you use this before your regular moisturizer it helps the cream absorb quickly and gives quicker visible result compare to when you use the moisturizer alone. Skin glows upon wearing makeup too! The only downside is the salesgirl told me to use this on the face in 14 days only for it contains active ingredients. Today is the 15th day and I still have some left so I use it on my neck and chest only. I don’t know how true is it that you only can use it on the face in 14 days because I’ve Googled it but seem to not finding a legit answer to that. Nevertheless, I love this product and would purchase it again!
