In Chuck and Bobbi Brown We Trust

I’m just going to throw it out there and say I love the idea that Chuck is God’s meat suit.

That is all.

Oh wait, and also, I’m going to say I really love the new Bobbi Brown University Eye Palette ($60) because apparently it’s big and affordable. Typically Bobbi’s 12 pan eyeshadow palettes run a hell of a lot more than $60 big ones so I’m thinking it must be my lucky day. Too bad the colors are so very Fall-like! Why can’t this be a big old selection of peach colors. My obsession with peach eyeshadow continues since Too Faced Sweet Peach and Etude House Juice Bar just didn’t quite cut it.

Bobbi Brown University Eye Palette

The University Eye Palette was inspired my professional eyeshadow sets used by Bobbi.

Shades include:

  • Ivory (creamy white)
  • Cream Metallic (creamy beige)
  • Stone Metallic (beige silvery brown)
  • Antique Rose (rosy brown)
  • Birch (rosy brown)
  • Heather (medium grey violet)
  • Fog (deep slate grey)
  • Black Charcoal (blackest grey)
  • Caviar (black brown)
  • Black Plum (deep black plum)
  • Ivy (dark green)
  • Navy (deep navy blue)

About those peach shades, who remembers Bobbi Brown Cabana Corals? Those were the days!
But if you’re gun-ho on the University Eyeshadow Palette you can grab it up now at nordstrom.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I just saw the picture of the palette first and thought it was a new version of the Lorac Nude Necessities palette. I was like, wow a redemption for that disappointing palette. But it’s not hmmm maybe Lorac will make a new one though. I seriously like the packaging. What are your thoughts Muse?

    • Isabella Muse

Oh don’t worry 🙂 Lorac has a new palette upcoming that looks quite lovely 😀 I haven’t yet tried this one so no thoughts yet but I think it might be an ok to skip for me. I prefer warmer shades! So money saved 😀

I have so many Chuck feelings!!! gah! And who thought that Chuck could ever be terrifying, but he very much had his moments last week. I thought he was going to smite Metatron a couple of times, especially when Chuck’s writings were critiqued. I love that Chuck pretty much said love is love regardless of who you find it with- i may have shed a tear or two. The whole ep was a roller costar of revelations and emotions, which i’m still not over.

    • Isabella Muse

Ha I feel the same way! I loved Chuck! Was happy to have him back particularly as God! Can’t wait for today’s eppy hope I have time to watch 😀 I even had the feels for Metatron for a moment or two there!

      • Ruth

As awful as Metatron was, i felt bad for him too! I guess we all want acceptance and acknowledgement by those we hold in high esteem. but he’s still a poopy head =D

        • Isabella Muse

I completely agree! I think Metatron, like anyone, let power go to his head. He seems like a nice guy but he got caught up in the moment! I felt bad for him too and he almost redeemed himself in this episode!

I have had this palette for months and am wearing it today…purchased it at Sephora around Christmas time. It is very versatile, a true mix of colors and no…I mean no fall out. The palette is highly pigmented….so you do not have to work for color pay-off. I am very happy I grabbed it.

    • Isabella Muse

I’m normally a nude/natural kinda girl and I like browns/golds/etc but I’m always looking for some solid smokey shades that will work for my finely lined eyes! Hopefully a counter has them so I can play 😀

        • Isabella Muse

Agreed! I haven’t looked yet tbh! Have to hit up a counter soon! 😀

As much as I’m drawn to this palette, I simply cannot bring myself to succumb… I’ve literally bought over a dozen pre-made palettes since the Holidays (not to mention a few dozen MAC singles, finishing off a few more custom palettes!), and I haven’t done more than swatch most of them… It really is pretty, though!

  • Swang

Yayy! You are a SPN Fan girl too!! Yippee! 🙂 Guess what Muse, I’m going for SPN Con this year, my first ever convention! I’ve booked photo ops with Jensen/Jared and Misha/Mark!! I’m freakingg out! Hope I don’t embarrass myself!Might go touch their abs or something :S

    • Isabella Muse

YAY! 😀 Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! 🙂 I wanna see pics after 😀 LOL! Def grab something, ANYTHING!
