You Should Follow These Makeup Brands, This Dude, and These Dogs on Instagram

makeup instagram

Love or hate it Instagram is here to stay and it has become a source for makeup and beauty release leaks a plenty. There are many, many, many makeup brands that use Instagram as a source to leak their own upcoming collections. It’s become the norm for brands to use their own social platforms to get info out early versus giving it out to blogs or even magazines.

You don’t have to love Instagram but it is a great place to get the latest information about your favorite brands. And hey, if you don’t have the app nor are you planning on downloading it or opening an Insta-account anytime soon that isn’t an issue. You can easily visit your favorite Instagram accounts, bookmark them, and stalk them later from the comfort of your desktop computer.

Here are some makeup brands I like to follow! Oh and this dude and these dogs too!

Too Faced and Jerrod Blandino
Do follow both Too Faced and founder Jerrod on Instagram as both accounts leak info really, really early. Jerrod gave us a glimpse of the Sweet Peach Palette before anyone else knew about it! He’s also the one that gave us our first glance at the upcoming Too Faced x Kat Von D Collection. Both accounts are worth a follow if you’re a fond of the brand as the latest and hottest info does come from both accounts.

Wet n Wild
I actually really like following Wet n Wild as they are always sneaking little photos of their upcoming product launches and in some cases those releases are months away. So, you’ll have the latest info when you hit the drugstore to shop budget beauty!

Urban Decay and Wende Zomnir
Urban Decay is a fun follow but not as fun as founder, Wende Zomnir, who has a knack for giving us the briefs teases of upcoming UD launches or products in the works! She was one of the first places I read about the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Collection!

Yeah, believe it or not Covergirl is a pretty good follow as they are very, very fond of releasing sneaky little peeks of their latest product launches ever so often!

And just for fun…

I promise I’m not just saying it because he’s my friend but Dusty remains one of my favorite follows on Instagram. He’s humorous, creative, and introduces me to some great makeup finds. I mean, who thought Joan Collins Beauty would be such a mega lemming!?

Rescue pup turned dog model forget Jiffpom, get on board with Ella Bean the cutest and most stylish dog I know on Instagram!

Six rescue dogs, one awesome lady, and plenty of pics of rescues pups looking for a home you have to admire Candice for reminding me that Pitbulls are a little scary but they need love too!

I hope you enjoyed this post and found some new accounts to follow on Instagram!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

I follow too many people on Insta. No one follows me though.

My Instagram feed is loaded with Basset Hounds (we have two) and Pitties (I’d love to have a Pit Bull, but our Jack Russell would probably scare it to death) and lots of QVC hosts. I tend to post photos of our dogs, my garden, and the things i cook.

haha! My little dog is like that too, she can totally make a big dog quiver 😀

The Pit Bulls I’ve known were silly, sloppy kissers, and I never felt afraid around any of them. I miss them (Nika and Oscar) — they’re back in NJ, and we’re in FL. There are so many in the shelters down here — it’s incredibly sad.

My friend Marc got a pit bull a few years ago and he is the biggest mush ever. Such a lovely animal! I was a little scared of them before that!
