Pixi Invisible Smudge-Stopper Lip Contour Liner

Whenever I wear red lipstick it pretty much takes a road trip around my face. I’ve seriously discovered red lipstick not only in the usual suspect places like my upper lip line but also on weird places like my forehead, my cheek, and my chin. I dunno how this happens but red lipstick does so like to take a road trip around my face when I wear it.

The worst part is that sometimes no one tells me that I have red lipstick smeared on my forehead so I’m waiting around like that all damn day! I’d ever so appreciate it if you saw me on the street and I had lipstick anywhere on my face aside from my lips please stop me and tell me? Thanks!

In cases like this you need a little handy tool like Pixi Invisible Smudge-Stopper Lip Contour Liner.

I’m not a lip liner person. Why? Becuase my lips tends to fade yet my lip liner remains thus I’m working around with lined lips and no lipstick. Such a bad look.

Plus my hand isn’t particularly steady when it comes to lining my lips or my eyes. Add to the fact I get a little overzealous with lip liner and end up giving myself Angeline Jolie lips because I’m coloring way outside the lines! Keep me away from lip liner, it’s a lethal tool!

I do, however, like clear or transparent lip liners like Pixi Invisible Smudge-Stopper Lip Contour Liner. You know those clear wax crayons you get with Easter Egg dyeing kits? Think of transparent lip liner like that. It basically seals in your lip color and stops it from migrating, feathering, and road tripping around your lip line and face. Pixi’s version has a precise, thin point so even unsteady hands like my own can easily “color” inside the lines and apply this quickly and easily. I use it whenever I’m wearing a darker shade of lipstick as it really helps it stay in place. Pixi’s formula is a little creamy but thick enough to build a good barrier around lips to keep color from feathering.

So, if you’re having issues with road tripping lip colors grab yourself a little Pixi Invisible Smudge-Stopper Lip Contour Liner and keep it in place!

Available now at pixibeauty.com or get it at Target.com and Target stores.

How do you keep your lipstick in place?

Thanks for reviewing this! I’ve been looking for a new invisible lip liner for my mom because she didn’t like the Sephora one (too waxy), will give this a go!

My pleasure Z! it’s nice and light! Good precise point too!

    Sounds good!
& I try to find discreet ways to tell people if they have a makeup smudge or something in their teeth or skirt stuck in underwear, toilet paper stuck to shoe…etc!
I def want to be told if I have an issue like that so of course I do the same for other people.

I use Urban Decay’s 34/7 lip liner in Ozone, which is also clear. I can’t live without it. The Pixi I’ve might be cheaper though. Thanks Muse!

I love the Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone Multipurpose Primer Pencil 😀

I used Paula Dorf Perfect Illusion for lips for YEARS until it was discontinued. It was my HG product!! I was SO happy when UD Ultimate Ozone came out because it’s the closest to that one. My lipstick *never* moves LOL!

I really like ozone too! It really helps keep lipstick sealed in!

I NEED THIS! Avon used to make a similar product in its Glimmersticks line, but they discontinued it years ago. My 60 (nearly 61) year old lips need a clear barrier due to the teeny lines radiating off them (I never smoked, which is a common cause of the lines, but decades of drinking through straws has had the same effect). I’m going to Target on Saturday — if they have these in stock, I’m grabbing a handful.

Lipliner tip: don’t just line your lips — line them, then fill them in. Your lipstick will last a lot longer. I use the NYX waterproof liners — they’re not exactly waterproof, but they last a long time. Even after I’ve eaten, there’s still color on my lips. And they’re not drying at all. YOu can get them at Ulta.

My mom’s a smoker and bought the smashbox clear liner and is super pissed because of the lack of quantity in the product tube, I think it’s broken but she won’t let me take it back (*eye roll*). But because she smokes, her lipstick explores all over her face too. thanks for the recommendation, i’ll pick this one up for her and see if she fares any better.

Let me know how she does with it! Not a smoker but my dry lips sometimes cause feathering :-/

I’ve never tried this, but I really like my Milani clear liner.

Can’t wait to try out this liner!
