It Cosmetics Sunshine In a Compact2

I am surprised to say that It Cosmetics Sunshine In a Compact works a treat for me. I know right? Shade seeker I am, I’m amazed I actually like a bronzer for once.

This is a complete matte bronzer so, shimmer and sparkle haters rejoice! I actually like radiant or shimmery bronzers myself because they always seem a touch more wearable to me but I’m slowly realizing that less is more when applying a ton of shimmery bronzer on your face.

It Cosmetics Sunshine In a Compact ($34) is a talc-free matte bronzer that apparently contains Drops of Light Technology that adds radiance without glitter or shimmer. Uhhh yeah, I can’t really say I noticed anything radiant about the finish here but I will say this is a dense yet easy to blend powder bronzer that looks very, very good on my skin.

In the pan, I think it looks a bit too orange-y tan but it actually applies with just the right amount of warmth on my cheeks and face. I think the reason I like it is the fact it looks very smooth and natural on my skin without making me look orange or dull. The density of the powdery allows me to apply just the right amount and it can’t be overdone even when you’re as heavy handed as I am. Add to the fact that the powder doesn’t cling to my drier areas and has an incredibly smooth, second-skin finish!

If you’re looking for a touch of warmth but not the orange or dullness that bronzers typically bring with them, I think you’ll really enjoy It Cosmetics Sunshine in a Compact as it’s as natural a tan as you’d get from standing out in the sunshine!

I’m really not a fan of bronzer, but this does look like one I could like.

Me either! This works for me though just warmth but nothing dulling or orange-y or too dark!

Thanks Muse. Is this the same bronzer that It cosmetics has in the huge round compact with the blush and highlighter? The color looks the same. Thanks.

I’m not sure! Got a pic? Do you mean the ombre blush? if so this is different.
