Lush Father’s Day? Is This a New Thing?

Lush Father's Day 2016

I’ve long since covered Lush Mother’s Day Collections on Musings of a Muse but Lush Father’s Day? Is this a new thing? I don’t believe I ever noticed Lush doing a Father’s Day Collection before and honestly, I’m positive my dear old da would be positively confused if I gifted him with a body moisturizer, bath bomb, or bubble bar. My dad is more of a tool, gadget, baseball, motorcycle kind of dad! I do so wish that he was a Lush dad though….

I mean, I’d kind of feel right at home chatting moisturizer with my dad yanno?

But hey, it’s ok if your dad isn’t into Lush! I’m positive you can still indulge in a few of the Lush Father’s Day goodies for yourself!

Lush Smuggler’s Soul Multi-Purpose Cream $18.95
Dad can use this one on his face and body or hell, he can even style his hair with it or use it as a shaving cream. It contains jojoba oil for moisture and an uplifting smoky lemongrass, vetivert, and sandalwood fragrance.

Lush Smuggler’s Soul Facial Scrub $13.95
Dad can gently exfoliate his skin with this exfoliating scrub that contains argan oil, olive, oil, shea butter, and fine bamboo granules as well as a gorgeous smoky lemongrass and sandalwood fragrance!

Lush Smuggler’s Soul Shampoo Bar
My dad washes his hair with Irish Spring so, there is potential I can get him to use a shampoo bar! This cocoa butter infused shampoo bar contains watercress and fresh cucumber to cool and hydrate your dear old dad’s scalp!

Lush The Modfather Bubble Bar $5.95
This bright citrus-y bubbke bar contains orange oil and creates a mound of lather and bubbles in your bath!

Lush Thanks Dad Soap $5.95
This little soap contains orange oil as well as skin softening coconut oil for moisture!

Lush Superdad Bath Bomb $7.95
Sandalwood and olibanum oils give this fizzy little bath bomb a woodsy and earthy scent. Just drop it in a tub of warm water and relax as it fizzes happily away.

The Lush Father’s Day Collection is available at lush.com and in Lush Boutiques.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I think this may be the second or third year Lush have done a Father’s Day collection, though I’m pretty sure the previous ones were just a gift box with existing “manly” goodies in. The Smuggler’s Soul scrub is absolutely lovely, highly recommended! But I agree, my dad is pretty much an Imperial Leather soap and Head and Shoulders kind of guy, even though we turned him on to Ultrabalm a while ago I can’t see any of this being his bag!

Those I remember! I can’t remember individual items though! I was surprised 😀 haha my dad is the same, hard to get him to try anything like this!

I saw these in shop on friday and I too was surprised! But pleasantly so, I tend to enjoy Lush’s more masculine fragrances. The smuggler’s soul lotion didn’t have enough fragrance to convince me to try it out. The shampoo bar had a bit more initial fragrance but scent seems to leave the shampoo bars after a few uses so I wasn’t motivated enough. Modfather bubble bar smelled like every other citrus bubble bar I’ve ever picked up. The superdad bath bomb smelled great, more earthy and spicy. I would have bought it but I am still overloaded on bath products from the boxing day sale.
