About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. hey muse! I swatched this palette in store, and while I love neutrals I couldn’t get excited about it. $25 is very tempting but….I think I will pass. Checking out the sale for other items tho 🙂

hey! I actually really liked it! Good round up for natural looks but I understand. Lots of other goodies to be had though 😀 Happy Shopping Yelena!

It is also $25 at Ulta, however you can use the 20% percent off platinum coupon. I didn’t want this that much but at $20 I don’t think I can resist.

I, too, snapped it up during my stock-up haul at Ulta this weekend. $20 with coupon? Plus points? They practically forced me to take it, along with my 4 bottles of Mario Badescu rose facial mist, 4 bottles of Soap & Glory body lotion, 2 mega packs of my HG texturizer, backups of my IT CC+ cream, and an entire bagful of skincare recs directly from you Muse! It’s so great to be stocked up for an entire season. Now I get to have fun planning looks!! PS I did *also* happen to slip in one of the new Makeup Revolution highlighter powders…and it’s divine (Peach Lights)…

I bought this when it came out at full-price, and it is a really nice palette. But I should learn to wait for some of these things to go on sale! Feel free to remind me of that when Kat Von D’s “Serpentina” palette goes on sale in July because I know I won’t want to wait!

LOL I won’t either on that one and I have a feeling it will suck!

The makeup addict/collector in me totally wants to grab this but… I don’t need it and with my medium skintone, I really don’t need it. Staying strong.

It kinda twists my buttons that this pallet is on such a deep sale because I bought it at full price. It’s used a lot but grrrr!!!!

    • Isabella Muse

I didn’t pay for mine, it was a press sample, but I’d be pissy too about that!

I kinda am because I bought mine and one for my bestie. It kinda makes me think twice about buying LE UD products when they seem to go on discount quite often.

        • Isabella Muse

🙁 It really takes away the value of an LE product imho!

  • Jessica

I also didn’t care much for this palette but for $25 I couldn’t resist! I actually used it today and it’s not bad considering I paid only $20 because I used my platinum 20% discount! I feel like a little girl with a new toy 🙂

I didn’t want this palette when it came out, partly because of so many light neutrals and partly because of the price. But after actually playing with it in the store, and paying only $20 for it ($25 + 20% discount at Ulta), I’m very happy with it. My Ulta had a ton of them left.
