Bath & Body Works Fragrance Mist Sleeves Are Pointlessly Pretty

bath & body works fragrance mist sleeve

So, I admit I’ve never understood the point of Bath & Body Works Fragrance Mist Sleeves. Well, really I don’t get the point of any of their sleeves! They make them for hand soap too which boggles my mind as it is likely going to get wet and rust!???

If you aren’t familiar with these, they are simply a little sleeve the slips over your hand soap or fragrance mist and kind of decorates them a bit. I’m all about cute packaging but these never really appealed to me. I think one of the main reasons I don’t like them is the fact they don’t lock onto a bottle. So, you have to be careful when using the mist or picking it up as the sleeve slips off.

But I have to admit I picked up two recently because I fell in love with the designs. The first one is a bling-y sparkly white one and the second is a glittery Fall leaf design.

They are sooooo pointless but really pretty!

I really didn’t need them but they look cute on my vanity, that makes them more important right!???

🙂

Anyone own one?

Do you like them or do you find the design a little faulty?

I love them simply because the hide the labels and can enhance your decor use them mostly in guest baths. I have some for every seasons, living near beach a have a lot of beachy ones.

Def like that part! I just wish you can somehow keep them on! I find it difficult to use the mist with the sleeve on!

Omg I think almost the same thing every time I see these. I’ve never bought one because I actually think the hand soap packaging is so cute, but definitely have been tempted by how pretty these are!

I just bought the pearl and glitter one. I got it as a free item up to 14.00. One of those deals. All my BBW boxes are at my door, so I have not used it yet. Now, I don’t know if I want it. I didn’t even think about the fact that the mist won’t stay in the sleeve. I will be irritated one day and in the garbage it will go. I’m going to have to find someone to give it to. Damn, I knew I should have got something other than that sleeve as the free item. But, The pearls and bling is sooooo pretty.

They’re pretty, but I see your point. I also like the previous commenters thoughts about using it in a guest bathroom. If I had one, I would probably just pick the bottle up out of the sleeve every time I used it. These are clearly just a novelty, but they do improve the aesthetic of the product they conceal.

The diamonds & pearls one may be used as a makeup brush holder, which is what I use it for!

I have the soap ones. I was forced to replace the older version that I had( 4 of them) when BBW replaced the design of their old soaps with a new design. They did give me 2.00 each credit when I brought the old ones back. Oh and they don’t rust or get nasty. I believe they are coated.

I like the idea of using it as a makeup brush holder. Also where is your white glass scroll tray from ? Its beautiful.

Yes, I have the glittery pearl one! It’s so unpractical but I just “had” to have it.

A little late in the game here. I never comment on any postings, but I thought this was noteworthy. I used one as a vase with beautiful pink (fake) flowers, and one as a make up brush holder and they are so cute! Once I saw them my DIY wheels were turning, they just seen impractical as you mentioned for the body spray. PS semiannual sale has them at 50% off right now.

I’m having to trouble getting the sleeve off! It’s so difficult and nearly impossible for me to take it off. I would honestly much rather have them slip off rather than acting as if it’s superglued.

    • Isabella Muse

really!? I didn’t have an issue! It slipped on and off easily!
