Fortune Cookie Soap True Love Facial Cleansing Oil

I’m currently in love with and eagerly awaiting the release of the Fortune Cookie Soap True Love Facial Cleansing Oil. I recently got a sample of Fortune Cookie Soap True Love Facial Cleansing Oil in the As You Wish Fall 2016 Soap Box and since that time I’ve used my entire vial up! But no worries! I don’t have long to wait for more as the collection launches on Friday.

Phew!

As you may already know the Fortune Cookie Soap As You Wish Collection was inspired by everyone’s favorite 80’s flick, the Princess Bride. Name me one person who didn’t want to be Buttercup growing up.

Wait, that’d be me because I wanted to be the dread Pirate Roberts. I will and always shall remain a pirate. I fart in your general direction ninjas.

No but seriously, let’s chat cleansing oil.

I have no idea how much this is going to cost nor do I know the size it will be offered in but I sure hope it’s a larger size than the vial I got in my Soap Box because I need like a case of this stuff. I love it! But it isn’t for sensitive users because it does have a very, very strong scent which I find lovely but won’t be agreeable to many users.

The scent is just divine. It’s a sweet, sweet citrus with creamy jasmine petals and a dash of sea salt. I’m not sure if the “True Love” fragrance will be available in any items in this collection but if it is, you know I’ll be first in line to buy whatever is available as this is a gorgeous fragrance.

On the down side I hated the fact the oil has some sort of dried floral bits in it. This and the heavy fragrance made me scared to use it around my eye area. But on my face it was absolutely divine. It’s suggest to apply it to your hands first and rub them together and apparently the product will go milky white at which point you’ll apply to your face. It seemed weird and slightly backwards compared to what we know about cleansing oils as typically they go milky upon contact with water. I tried it and it didn’t quite go milky on me but remained very much an oil. It feels absolutely luxurious on my face. I’m not sure what the blend of oils is that they use (I’ll confirm shortly so, check back) but it’s beautiful! It glide son skin in a very hydrating burst and feels positively high end. I wish they’d make a face oil like this because I’d buy it. It’s thin but very moisturizing which had me worried it would rinse off. But guess what? Totally rinsed clean away and broke down my makeup like a real champ! Not only that but it didn’t leave me tight nor did it leave me dry.

If you don’t mind a heavy fragrance in your skincare, I can’t recommend this enough! It smells incredible, removes makeup easily, and didn’t make me dry or tight after use.

I’ll be buying a case of it comes Friday! I hope the True Love scent will be available in a perfume oil otherwise, I’ll have to dab the cleansing oil on my pulse points!

Get it tomorrow at fortunecookiesoap.com.

I got a small vial in the Fortune Cookie Soap Box which was $10 and included a variety of other products. It isn’t yet available, it launched tonight, so, I don’t have exact details on the price and size that will be available on the official launch this evening.

I love the scent of this, too!! I’ll definitely be picking this up, along with the Buttercup shampoo. My bathroom smells so good with all the stuff I got in the box this month. 😀
