Lush Dad’s Garden Lemon Tree Body Spray Delightfully Tart and Sunny!

Lush Dad's Garden Lemon Tree Body Spray

Lush Dad’s Garden Lemon Tree Body Spray is one of those fragrances that could be potentially scary. For one thing, it comes in a Windex-like spray bottle. Yeah, so, Moschino called and they really want their packaging back!

Packaging aside, and the fact you can’t do your windows with this, I think lemon fragrances in general can be a little frightening. I love them but I tend to shy away from because many end up smelling like Pledge. Anyone have this issue with lemon fragrance? I know I do!

But Lush, Lush always gets things right and they deliver a delightfully tart and sunny fragrance with their new Dad’s Garden Lemon Tree Body Spray!

Big or perhaps better known to some as Mark Constantine was inspired to create this fragrance by his father. For him, it was the scent of his a lemon tree that resided in his father’s garden. A lot of Mark’s fragrances are inspired by his dear old dad!

This has that faint Lush underlay which can only be dubbed as “Lush Store Smell” but it also has an uplifting zesty dominant note of sunny, freshly squeezed lemons combined with juicy, tart limes and a hint of herbal notes in the background. There’s a certain sweetness to this blend but I also think it’s very reminiscent of walking through a herb garden after a rainy day with the scent of water clinging to the lemons on the tree. You get that grassy green note from the leaves and that slight bitterness from the yellow skin and a burst of juicy tartness from the fruit that lays within! It’s a delicious blend that beautifully fresh!

This actually wears quite a while. Typically body sprays are sucked up by my dry skin but I can get a nice solid five hour wear out of this fragrance. Although the packaging could be to blame since this blasts you with a forceful hose down of spray. It isn’t the most practical application in the world but it sure does provide enough fragrance for long wear and linger!

This also happens to be delightfully unisex so, either a guy or a girl can easily wear it.

All in all, another winning fragrance from Lush! I love this one! It’s a unique lemony scent you can easily blind buy!

I am going on a mini vacay to Jacksonville, Fl this weekend and Lush is one of the stores I will be hitting up. I am going to try this and my go to staple Sympathy for the Skin. But, I always feel uneasy when I walk in the store. I am swarmed on like bees to honey. It makes me very uncomfortable. I would spend more time and more money, if they just left me alone. I have shopped in Beverly Hills and Paris, and they are not as bad as Lush associates. That’s saying something. When LV and Tiffany leave you alone and the Lush store gives you anxiety. Lay off Lush…we know how a bath bomb works.

Yay for vacay time 🙂 Have fun jennifer! Yeah I know, Lush is like BBW lately so aggressive 🙁

As a former Lush SA I can apologize for the aggressive sales tactics, it always made me uncomfortable as well. Just tell them you are a long time lushie and they should back off or switch tactics and just show you the new goods. There are some truly cool Lush SAs out there and sometimes we get up to swapping cool tips and tricks.

Lauren, it’s def not all of the SAs sorry for generalizing like that! Some are very aggressive, others are very cool when you tell them you know, tried, and love Lush 🙂
