Mally Beauty Mix It Up Blush Palette

Here’s a little something different from Mally for Fall 2016. The new Mally Beauty Mix It Up Blush Palette ($33) is available in a Light and a Deep shade selection and contains four mixable, blendable blush shades as well as a tiny strip of highlighter to deliver a luminous flush to cheeks and face. Apparently the formula is as soft as velvet.

This is different for Mally as it isn’t packaged up in her standard gorgeous pink packaging plus she typically does single blush shades but I’ve never seen her do a quad of colors. It kind of looks E.L.F. Cosmetics-like to me for some reason!

But considering I like her blush formula I’m willing to try.

These are available now at and will be in stores on the 26th of August.

P.S. How’s your Monday? Mine has been LONG…! I’m scheduling this post for later tonight but right now it is 4PM and I’m counting the minutes until I can close up shop and head home. I’m hungry, tired, and trying to shake off the weekend! I hope your Monday was good and your weekend even better.

I have some great reviews upcoming for this week! Hopefully you’re excited as I am to hear about them!

Talk soon!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’ve never tried any of Mally’s makeup before, but these are so pretty I might have to get one! I’ll at least swatch them when they show up at Ulta. The pallette at the bottom is my favorite of the two.

Cute. I’m waffling right now over the Mally Muted Muse 6-shadow palette (plus larger sizes of crease color and highlighter) that I saw on her show on the Q this morning. It’s not a bad price at $32, especially since it includes a double-ended brush. I actually took inventory of my philosophy stuff earlier to see if I can winnow it a bit by canceling or skipping ADs (I actually skipped one of Hope in a Tube, and it wasn’t easy to do, either. I hoard this stuff, but I use it twice a day. I’m close to canceling the last installment of the big skincare AD from last September — I have more than enough Purity and Microdelivery Scrub, but I hate missing out on the WHINE serum and the Renewed Hope in a Jar — at 4oz apiece, they’re more than the price of the AD. And I have two open/two unopened of the former, with more in a new AD with WHINE Eye Cream, plus two open/three unopened of the latter). Decisions, decisions.

I hate to be pessimistic, but I hate that her makeup is gravitating into black packaging. I haven’t bought any new items solely based on my dislike for it, it’s not girly or fun or Mally, come to think of it..

I just saw that Mally has a TSV on QVC coming up on September 6th. I’m anxiously waiting to see exactly what is in it, but she hinted recently in a Facebook Live video that there are several new products/colors and brushes in the kit! I can’t wait!
