Uh oh the Marc Jacobs Beauty Style Eye Con No 20 Eyeshadow Palette for Holiday 2016 ($99) needs to come home with me today.

How about you?

The limited edition Marc Jacobs Beauty Style Eye Con No 20 Eyeshadow Palette for Holiday 2016 is available now at Sephora.com is is packed with 20 gorgeous, plus eyeshadows curated into five rows to create five modern looks that were created my makeup artist Diane Kendal. Each row has a specific look, those looks are a golden moment, red-carpet glamour, a modern smoky eye, daytime glamour, and a casual daytime look. The palette includes a face chart to create all five looks!

The palettes are packed into an oversized, collector’s edition gold palette that has a huge mirror inside. Each eyeshadow weights in at 0.03 oz in size!

You get:

  • Awards Show (matte ivory, metallic gold, metallic bronze, matte aubergine)
  • Evening Swag (matte suede, champagne shimmer, chestnut shimmer, matte cocoa)
  • Afterparty (matte eggshell, snowy white shimmer, charcoal shimmer, matte sooty-black)
  • About Last Night (matte rose-petal blush, mink shimmer, matte cashmere, deep black)

I adored last year’s palette and I’m looking forward to this one!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Already en route to me! Placed the order immediately this morning. Love Marc Jacobs Beauty!

likewise! That peach shade looks like it’s going to be gorgeous!

I was taken by surprise when I saw this today since, when I first heard about it several weeks ago, the release was labelled “Holiday 2016”. I knew I’d have to have this!

The only other “Holiday” release I’ve seen so far that I am eagerly awaiting is the Kat Von D Metal/Matte palette. It looks perfect! Have you heard anything about a release date? I’m hoping that since the MJ palette popped up earlier than expected, maybe KVD will do the same.

I haven’t! I’m a little worried about that one, it looks a bit dry! :-/ hopefully it isn’t!

Another palette full of boring browns and light pinks. Neutral mud. Is it just me or does the packaging look like the Sephora Minnie Mouse palette?

OMG…I don’t know what to do. I want the Nikki Tutorial TF palette and this. But I can’t get both right now. Do you think I can hold off on getting this MJ palette for a few more weeks? Or do you think it will sell out? What would you do?

    • Isabella Muse

I didn’t like Nikki’s palette so I’m probably going to be happier with the Marc Jacobs one 🙂 I’m not sure on the sell out, you never know nowadays what will fly off shelves and what won’t!

Great. I just placed an impulse order on last years off of mark jacobs website. Then I get an e-mail from Sephora regarding this. Ugh lol

Looks pretty, but honestly, I have these same shades a dozen times over. Sigh. Whatever happened to green shades? You almost never see them any more. Won’t someone please think of the greens???

  • Randi MacDonald

A lot of these shades look very similar to the shades in the UD gwen palette.

YUP! Being LE I ordered it on sight! I do not have any MJ in my stash and really wanted to get a nice palette to give the brand a go! Perhaps the shades are dupable in other brands/palette, but my understanding is the formula of the MJ shadows is high end (creamy, pigmented) at a fair price point. I have not been moved by any of the Too Faced releases this year…even the TFxKVD is doing nothing for for me. So I thought it worth giving this palette a go. 😉
