The Scoop On Sephora Rewards Bazaar
The Sephora Rewards Bazaar launched today and for me this seems to be a replacement for the Sephora Epic Rewards Program. You might recall Epic Rewards was a selection of incredible items that Sephora had on offer for those of us that have a high reward point balance. Needless to say the experience was actually an epic failure because many of the items and sets offered disappeared within seconds of landing on Sephora’s website.
I have no idea if the Epic Rewards Program will return but I will say it did launch last year on August 10th. The 10th has obviously come and gone but the Sephora Beauty Insider Appreciation Week where you can earn to 4x points on purchase is still coming soon.
Personally, I think the new Sephora Rewards Bazaar might just be a replacement for last year’s Epic Rewards program.
Here’s what I know so far.
The Sephora Rewards Bazaar will have a rotation of new items that launch every Tuesday and Thursday from 9AM to 5PM PT. Rewards apparently go fast! So, if you see something you like, you better grab it up. Today’s reward was the Kat Von D Addiction Set that I posted about earlier. This is a 500 point perk but there are also 100, 250, and 500 deluxe samples of fragrances, skincare, and makeup available. None of those 100-500 perks seem the least bit interesting out side of the Kat Von D Set though.
For those of us with very high point balances Sephora is offering one on one Sephora Pro Artist experiences for 3000 to 4500 points which are sadly currently out of stock.
And last but not least the really big win this week is from Kat Von D yet again. It’s a 25000 point perk that gets you flight, accommodations, and tickets to the Makeup Show in California along with a friend as well as a selection of makeup from Kat Von D and essential makeup products featured at the show.
I think the Sephora Rewards Bazaar aims to be a better version of the Epic Rewards Program in the fact that all the rewards don’t launch at once but launch one at a time. This might just keep things from selling out fast and also keep from upsetting fans the way the Epic Rewards Program did last year.
We shall see how it works out.
I look forward to next Tuesday and Thursday to see what else Sephora launches.
Be sure to keep your eyes on the Sephora.com Rewards Bazaar landing page to see what launches next week!
