Get your wallet out and your credit card ready for the Tarte Big Blush Book 2 Palette that’s available now at tarte.com. This delicious blush palette is filled with h 8 brand new shades of Tarte Amazonian Blush and yes, they are all full size! It’ll be around for a limited time aka it’ll likely sell out in a flash! Sadly, it isn’t as cheap as the original Big Blush Book which was a mere $35 thanks to a sale that Tarte had going at the time ($50 was the original retail price) but hey, it’s still quite the deal agreed?

Shades include:

  • Feisty (dusty rose)
  • Dreamy (rosy pink)
  • Thrilled (dusty mauve)
  • Lively (poppy pink)
  • Soulful (hot pink)
  • Quirky (coral)
  • Perky (pinky coral)
  • Breathless (nude shimmer)

When the original palette released it sold out very quickly so, you’ll definitely want to have you credit card ready and be at home computer at 12 NOON EST tomorrow to get your hands on this one! It’s slightly disappointing that the price is $10 more than last year (plus no sale I know of this year) but the value of the contents is still mighty good considering you’re getting $224 bucks worth of blush for $60 dollars!

I’m going to try to grab one for myself.

How about you?

I’m hearing Tarte Holiday 2016 will also have an interesting and new blush palette as well which I’m very much looking forward to getting my hands on (from what I’m hearing Holiday 2016 arrives as soon as September 10th)!

Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on this one!

The Tarte Big Blush Book 2 launches tomorrow at tarte.com.

Happy Shopping!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I missed out on the first one. I hope I can snag this one. I LOVE Tarte blushes.

  • Beth

Your post on the first one said the retail was $50 – it was $35 with the 30% Friends & Family sale. It’s still a price hike, but not quite as bad.

    • Denise

I think it was accidentally added to the website during F&F, which is why it ‘sold out’ in under an hour! I got an even better deal- mine arrived with one blush missing, so they refunded my money AND let me keep the others. For $17 on eBay, I snagged a new Dollface, and popped it right into the book!

  • Dee

I do love their blushes but will wait for the holiday blush palette. Good luck in grabbing one tomorrow!

  • Sara

    Um, not to be pedantic, but $28 x 8 = $224

It’s still a great deal, though!

    • Isabella Muse

sorry about that, I just realized that I typed $400 and no idea why 😉 Tired obvs!

  • Cheryl

Sigh…and I have a meeting at work from 11:45 to 12:30 today. The one lunch meeting I have all year, and it is today. Poo.

  • Madeleine

I’m waiting for the compact that’s coming out for holiday..I hope it’s available as soon as September 10th!

    • Cheryl

It’s made in China, per the ” ingredients” tab under the palette description.

      • Randi MacDonald

That is so sad. Then its not a great deal, because I was under the impression that the regular line of blushes was made in the USA. When companies do these specials for holidays, they cheapen out and make the products in China.

  • Cheryl

I was just able to purchase this. It is not showing up as a new item on Tarte’s site, but if you search the website for “big blush book”, you are able to add it to your cart and buy it now. Jump on that baby!

  • Cheryl

And..5 minutes later, it is not turning up in a search of the website. Either they have already sold out, or they we moved it until noon.

    • Isabella Muse

I’m thinking they launched early, maybe it’ll be back at 12! I didn’t get a confirmation but the order shows in my account!

  • Dani

I just got mine! I just randomly decided to check the site early. I did get a confirmation email, but it took about 20 min. I’m sooo excited! Blush heaven!

  • Cathi C

The link worked for me. I was able to put it in my cart and complete purchase. I just did it, so I haven’t checked for a confirmation yet. Good luck, Ladies! And thank you for the inside scoop!!

  • Amber

I ordered one for me and then a second one as a birthday/christmas surprise for my daughter who will be 15 this year. Got confirmation on both orders really quickly. I did notice it’s out of stock now. I also got my daughter the hrush palette to put aside. Will probably get her one of the holiday sets then I think she will have enough or her dad will get upset lol

  • Amber

My kids would probably argue that one but they’re usually happy with their gifts so I can’t be all bad 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

haha I think as teenagers we probably all felt that way! Don’t worry, the older they get the more they will appreciate all you did for them 😀

  • Amber

Thank you. I hope so but the 26 year old is still difficult lol but as he’s married and lives out of state, he is her problem now. 🙂

  • Amber

P.S. I never even saw the first one last year so I may splurge for myself on the holiday one too. Can’t wait to get a good look at it!

    • Isabella Muse

The holiday one looks nice! I’m looking forward to seeing more of it myself 😀

  • Constant Lurker

I bought this because I wished I had bought the first book. I don’t need anymore blushes but I’m a sucker for holiday sets like this and a good deal. The colors look beautiful and right up my alley.

  • Janessa

I was able to get this one and will try to get the holiday compact when it gets released because I’m excessive and LOVE Tarte blushes… #addict

  • Maria

Muse. I just got my blush book in the mail today. I like the shades but the packaging is cheap foam. Also the size is large and does not fit in my makeup bag. Also the blush is made in China . The first blush book was made in USA. I hope the holiday blush case is sturdier and made in USA.

  • Joan

I jumped on this and received it yesterday. There are more shades that I don’t like…only a few I love, but I’m not keeping it for a few. It’s going back. The packaging is also very cheap. Very disappointed in this purchase. I’ll wait for the holiday blush palette.

    • Isabella Muse

aw sorry to hear it! Mine is coming today! curious what I’ll think!

  • Joan

I hope you like it…most of the shades are not my kind of shades. I loved the coral and bright pink shades and one other. I would love them sold individually. I’ll check out the holiday palette. I have the last one and love it.

      • Joan

Trang Rios, I’m so sorry, I went to the post office today and sent it back. I would gladly have sold it and sent it to you.

  • Maria

Muse, I am interested in your review. I hate paying return shipping charges. I will keep mine but will keep it in a separate tote bag. I just got the Laura geller chocolate kit and the shades look nice.

    • Isabella Muse

I don’t really need to carry around 8 blushes so I don’t mind if it is a big bigger 😀 Yay! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it after you’ve tried!

  • Denise

The packaging IS dumb, but the blushes pop right out (if it’s the same as the first one), if you want to put them in a z palette.

  • Joan

I sent it back already, but what is a z palette and where could I get one in the future?

  • Phoebe

Ugh I didn’t event know about the blush palette, first or second! Sigh and I’m signed up with tarte for newsletters wth

  • Jamie

I ordered the blush book 2 off ebay for a shocking price. Then, cancelled my order for the holiday blush wheel. Now I want to order it again. Going to call Tarte back to reinstate my order. Muse, did you like Blush Book 2? Please elaborate. As I have not received mine yet.

    • Isabella Muse

I hated it 🙁 I liked the Tarte Blush Wheel a lot but the Big Blush Book was a fail! Dense, stiff blushes :-/
