I think the compacts are mighty cute for the Blotterazzi, I’m especially a fan of the one from Too Faced featuring Clover as he looks like my little dog! Sadly, I don’t really use the Beautyblender Sponge all that much so these sets might be a bit useless for me.

But they sure will make a pretty gift for Beautyblender fan girls and guys!

Both sets are available now at Sephora.com.

Off topic, I totally re-watched Gotcha the late last night on HBO Go. Best 80’s movies in the world! You need to watch it. That is all 🙂

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I was going back & forth if I should get this the packaging is cute & the color I also have a chihuahua. But the blotterazzi isn’t rated to good. I decided to order it hope it works out.

I got one free in the Sephora Play Box, it’s interesting that’s for sure. Not sure I really need it though as I rarely get oily/shiny!

I’m willing to bet Too Faced ends the year with about 10 more collabs. Quite frankly, I’m tired of seeing them come out with a new collaboration every other week.

I really need Beauty Blender to make a purple version of the Blotterazzi! My wedding colors are purple and silver and I’m definitely keeping this in my bag to use throughout the day. I will probably get the TooFaced one with the hearts to use instead but my wedding isn’t until next summer so there’s still time! lol

I actually really love these sponges because I get oily throughout the day and these are cute to pull out and use. There is a trick to them though, which I think is why it gets bad reviews – it’s a sponge so you can’t just touch it to your face and move on like the blotting papers. You have to press it to your face and hold it there for a couple seconds so it has a chance to absorb the oil. Also, it’s not intended to completely mattify, just take away most of the oil but leave a healthy “glow”, which I didn’t think I would like but I do. It just makes your face look natural. Plus I love having the mirror for all of my touchups. I use it for everything!
