About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Colors look nice. Never tried her eyeshadows. Wonder how they compare to Too faced and Urban decay.

Stalking Sephora for days for this (ok, I peruse Sephora every day). Ordered this morning. Still doing my happy dance.

likewise! Dry, fine lines, def doesn’t translate well for these darker shades!

This isn’t my personal style, but it looks fabulous for anyone wanting more color!! Great value, and her quality is next to none!!! I have some of her palettes in the more neutral ranges and they are topnotch!!

Agreed! I skipped! I have finer lines, puffiness, and the colors are too dark for me but it looks stunning!

I am definitely going to have to see some swatches, or even test it in person. The shimmery colors are gorgeous, and I have several singles in the Metal Crush formula and love them, but colorful matte shades always make me really nervous in terms of quality. They just never seem to perform well. 🙁

I also think that the price point is a bit high – even if the pans are a good size, that’s just a lot of money for a palette. Will definitely wait for the Sephora sale if I decide to get it.

That is so gorgeous, but I’m miffed that palettes are edging up into that price range… I’ve got most of her stuff, but I’m going to have to pass on this. Harrumph!

I ordered mine this morning! Have been waiting months and months for this to launch. If those 9 new Metal Crush shadows are the same quality as her singles, that alone would make it worth it for me. And I don’t mind smaller sizes, as I never hit pan on shadows.
