Trish McEvoy Even Skin Water Foundation

Trish McEvoy Even Skin Water Foundation ($58) is a new exciting foundation that’s hitting the Fall 2016 beauty scene. Trish McEvoy is a brand I always keep my eye on. It’s a little underrated and doesn’t get nearly enough air time but some their makeup is really quite brilliant!

Trish McEvoy Even Skin Water Foundation is a fluid, water based foundation that blurs imperfections and brightens the complexion. Sadly, the finish is a silky matte and with the cooler weather ahead it probably won’t be a good pick for this dry skin girl.

Interestingly enough this formula also has a built in primer that ensures the foundation doesn’t transfer. Fluids are incredible formulas in my opinion but are legendary for transferring! The fact this contains a primer seems promising. It also contains Vitamin C as well as hyaluronic acid.

The shade selection is a little weak as it is only available in six shades but overall, this one looks promising!

Trish McEvoy Even Skin Water Foundation is available now at nordstrom.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I have a virtually identical double-ended brush from Tarte. I’ll bet they’re made in the same factory.

I just purchased this tonight. The sales gal tried to sell the Trish CC (or BB?) for $80! I settled for this one instead for around $22 less. I like the light consistency (similar to the dropper foundation from Dior). Hoping for great results. I agree that TM is very underrated. Love her products, especially the weekly peel packs for $125. Worth it!
